Trade Marketing Business Intelligence Specialist
The Business Intelligence Specialist will be responsible for analyzing commercial performance data, evaluating promotional effectiveness, monitoring distributor compensation schemes, assessing merchandising execution, and managing incentive compensations.
The role plays a critical part in driving data-backed decisions to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
1. Promotion & Commercial Plan Performance Analysis
Analyze the performance and ROI of trade promotions and commercial action plans.
Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance versus targets.
Provide post-promotion evaluations and actionable insights.
Develop dashboards and reports to track promotional KPIs.
2. Distributor Compensation Analysis
Calculate monthly promos compensations to distributors
Ensure alignment of the compensation's calculations with the distributors
Support financial validation and reconciliation processes.
3. Merchandising Performance Analysis
Evaluate in-store execution and merchandising effectiveness.
Analyze coverage, compliance, visibility, and sales uplift metrics.
Track performance by channel, region, and product category.
Provide insights to improve field force productivity and retail presence.
4. Incentive Plan Compensation Management
Analyze and validate sales incentive calculations.
Ensure incentive schemes align with performance KPIs.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Data analytics, Economics, Engineering or related field
•3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or similar role
•Experience in FMCG or manufacturing industry is highly preferred
•Fluency in English and FrenchSkills needed:
Technical Skills:
- Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, Power Query, advanced formulas)
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Analytical & Business Skills:
- Strong understanding of FMCG performance metrics
- Trade promotion analysis
- Experience with sales & distribution analytics
- Financial KPIs (margin, ROI, contribution analysis
- KPI tracking and dashboard development
- Ability to translate data into business recommendations
