Traceability process engineering
For our Ferrero HQ in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Traceability Process Engineering Specialist. In this role you will shape how traceability comes to life across our manufacturing network. From Luxembourg, you will lead a mission with real impact: preparing factories to integrate robust digital traceability by elevating processes, equipment, and ways of working. You will connect central vision with local reality, crafting readiness and confidence site by site.
You will lead end-to-end traceability maturity assessments in workshop mode across all manufacturing sites, aiming to map material flows and automation. By analyzing process typologies, equipment, and existing data capture, you will build clear digital process maps that tell the true story of each factory’s readiness.
Moreover, you will challenge current practices with care and clarity, identifying gaps against Group Traceability Guidelines. You will shape pragmatic solutions, from process changes to automation upgrades, and coordinate highlevel CAPEX estimates that enable informed decisions and sustainable progress.
Finally, you will ensure knowledge travels, not just solutions. You will animate onsite workshops and TraintheTrainer sessions, inspire crossfunctional collaboration, and capture best practices so each factory helps others grow. Through your work, traceability becomes a shared craft and a lasting capability.
You bring a master’s degree in engineering or another operations-related field, together with 3–5 years of experience in project management within industrial or manufacturing environments. You structure complex activities with clarity and turn objectives into concrete, deliverable outcomes.
You build on solid experience as a process engineer in food manufacturing, including continuous processes. You understand automation, material flows, and production systems, and you confidently read P&IDs, SCADA screens, and technical diagrams to shape reliable, scalable solutions.
You show your motivation through examples. You explain how you have approached projects, thought through tradeoffs, and managed activities end to end. You value a collaborative, crossfunctional approach, clearly articulating why alignment across teams is essential to create lasting impact and shared purpose.
If this sounds like you, we invite you to apply and join a collaborative team shaping Operations transformation with real, lasting impact across our manufacturing network.
