About the Role:
Do you have the desire to become part of a dynamic and fun Saniation team? Are you looking to help lead and guide your team to succeed? Fannie May in North Canton, Ohio, is looking for a Sanitation Lead that will assist the sanitation supervisor to ensure the plant Sanitation and Housekeeping standards are maintained. This position must ensure all paperwork is completed and safety and quality standards are maintained and enforced. Tasks include environmental cleaning (trash collection and removal, facilities cleaning, etc), washroom cleaning activities, equipment cleaning support on the production lines.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Direct and assist sanitation personnel in performing all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
2. Monitor compliance of environmental regulations and provide guidance with compliance of regulatory audits.
3. Provide guidance of sanitary design of equipment, facility & grounds
4. Complete all jobs in any area as assigned by supervisors/manager.
5. Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills.
Who we are looking for:
Education or Experience
· Understanding of basic arithmetic, reading level to understand instructions, policies, and procedures.
· High school Diploma or GED
Physical
· Lifting up to 75 lbs., bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing for extended periods, frequently repeated manual tasks.
Computer Skills
· Basic Microsoft Office Skills
