Inventory Specialist - 2nd Shift (Afternoons)
Ferrero, the #3 Chocolate Company in the world and also known as, Fannie May, located in North Canton, Ohio, is looking for an essential member of the Production Team, an Inventory Specialist. As the Inventory Specialist (PCP), you will be responsible for the coordination and supply of all materials to the production lines along with other responsibilities in production. This position is 2nd shift (2:00PM - 10:30PM) Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required at times and will require at least one Saturday or Sunday a month when there is not production to conduct inventory. This will also require weekends in August to conduct year end inventory reconciliation.

- Coordinate with the warehouse and quality team to provide packaging for all production areas
- Partner with quality on any packaging issues and ensure that all information is shared with the affected areas in production
- Inform the production and planning team of any material shortages that may result in reduction of scheduled planning
- Update inventory on a daily basis and support with monthly inventory reconciliation.
- Verify that all documentation on production lines are correct and ensure the right packaging is used
- Monitor organization of packaging materials in all production areas.
- Review scheduled production for following week and ensure packaging will be available at startup and overtime shifts.
- Request packaging required for trials as requested
- Any additional duties as required
- Experience working within a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in SAP system preferred
