We are looking for a Shelling Plant Manager to lead our shelling plant operations with full accountability for production performance, continuous improvement, budget compliance, operational excellence and people development. This role is responsible for optimizing production resources, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, environmental and health & safety standards, and delivering operational results aligned with company objectives. The position plays a key role in driving efficiency improvements, supporting strategic projects and fostering a high-performance culture across the plant.
- Lead and manage all shelling plant operations to achieve production, quality, safety and cost objectives.
- Optimize labor, machinery, utilities and production methods to maximize efficiency and performance.
- Drive SQCDME KPIs (Safety, Quality & Food Safety, Cost, Delivery, Motivation, Energy and Environment).
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, food safety and continuous improvement.
- Analyze operational trends and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and plant performance.
- Lead workforce planning, talent development and technical training initiatives.
- Manage resources required for production growth and operational continuity.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety requirements and corporate policies.
- Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, HR, Finance, IT and Procurement teams.
Educational background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Professional experience:
- Proven experience leading manufacturing or production plants.
- Strong background in continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Experience managing large operational teams within industrial environments.
- Knowledge of food manufacturing, quality and food safety systems.
Interpersonal skills:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Results-oriented mindset and operational excellence focus.
- Ability to lead change and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
IT skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and operational reporting tools.
Languages:
- Intermediate to Advanced English (B2 or higher).
