The role of General Procurement Buyer supports procurement activities across the Asia Pacific region, managing end‑to‑end purchasing processes, supplier coordination, and pricing accuracy. The role contributes to cost efficiency, supplier performance, and compliance with group procurement standards while working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners. This position offers broad regional exposure, commercial responsibility, and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across multiple markets.

  • Manage purchase requests and purchase orders in line with established procurement processes and timelines
  • Support resolution of blocked or overdue invoices and pricing discrepancies
  • Prepare regular spend and supplier analysis by country and category
  • Act as a point of contact for suppliers on operational topics and requests
  • Collect, monitor, and report supplier performance indicators in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Support supplier risk management activities and vendor qualification processes
  • Perform price checks and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support cost analysis and identify pricing variances
  • Monitor market trends, inflation, and supply‑demand dynamics relevant to categories in scope
  • Maintain accurate supplier and material master data
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, governance requirements, and internal controls
  • Support sustainability, responsible sourcing, and compliance‑related initiatives
  • Work closely with internal functions 
  • Support RFQs, tenders, and negotiations in alignment with regional procurement leadership
  • Maintain regular alignment with key stakeholders across the region
  • University degree in Business, Management, Accounting, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related commercial role
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating spend independently
  • Strong analytical skills, including cost and pricing analysis
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and procurement tools
  • Clear, structured, and professional communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a regional, cross‑cultural environment
  • English proficiency required; additional Asian language skills are an advantage
