Corrugated Materials Buyer
As Corrugated Materials Buyer based in our Luxembourg HQ, you will help shape how Ferrero sources corrugated board for packaging that protects quality and delivers value.
By covering this position, you will:
- Connect business needs with smart sourcing choices that support quality and continuity;
- Build strong supplier partnerships that balance cost, service, and long‑term reliability;
- Create impact by securing supply continuity, improving performance, and supporting projects with the right materials, at the right time.
You will contribute to the category strategy and turn business needs into a practical sourcing plan for corrugated materials. You will support category and financial planning for projects, align your actions with budget targets, and ensure procurement choices stay consistent with business priorities and long‑term supply security.
Moreover, you will lead supplier negotiations in line with internal procedures and the Ferrero Code of Business Conduct. You will run fair competition across suppliers and subcontractors, apply vendor management principles, and craft agreements that balance cost, quality, timing, and flexibility for the business.
In addition, you will manage requests for proposals and quotations, evaluate offers, and select solid alternatives that meet technical and service expectations. You will keep price lists accurate in SAP to enable clear price communication, and you will monitor service and quality performance indicators to address issues early and strengthen supplier performance.
You will bring your educational background in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, along with negotiation training. You have around 3 years of procurement experience, and you can explain your decisions with clear facts and sound reasoning.
You can build trust through simple, direct communication, and structured negotiation. You work well with different functions, you handle priorities with care, and you act with integrity and respect for ethical standards in every interaction.
You are confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and you can work with SAP tools such as SAP MM, SAP BW, and SAP Ariba. You use analysis and reporting to spot risks, solve problems, and improve how procurement supports the business.
Finally, you work fluently in English, both written and spoken.
