We have a current opening for a Commercial Warehouse Supervisor and are actively reviewing applications.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the management, continuous improvement, and quality compliance of a Ferrero distribution center and external warehouses that support the overall network. This individual will work with the Third-party logistics (3PL) to ensure the achievement of expected service levels, properly following standard operating procedures to manage stock, optimizing distribution costs and all aligned with our Quality requirements. The role will be instrumental in the development and implementation of strategies and process changes to improve supply chain efficiency and control costs while ensuring the optimization of the logistics network. 

•    Thorough understanding of warehousing and distribution operations, budgeting and management
•    At least 5 years of Supply Chain work experience, with at least 3 of those with a focus on Warehouse Management
•    Understanding of development of appropriate KPIs
•    Skilled in relationship management with vendors to drive continuous improvement mindset across the supply chain
•    Experience developing, monitoring budgets for short-mid term periods
•    Bachelor’s Degree in logistics or business, or five years of relevant experience
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Warehouse Management:
•    Manage all aspects of the relationship of 3PL partners to deliver Ferrero quality, safety, service and cost goals. 
•    Continually evaluate Ferrero 3PL partners against company standards
•    Work as the point of contact between Ferrero Customer Service and Ferrero DCs to help ensure best in class operations
•    Monitor warehouse budgets, considering fixed/variable elements 
•    Proactively forecast and manage warehouse capacity constraints with the 3PL during peak season and work with Supply Chain teams to avoid disruptions in the Ferrero supply chain
•    Ensure 3PLs are always on target for out-bound expectations
•    Inventory control, including daily reconciliation and cycle count activities
•    Manage material master data requirements between Ferrero and DCs
•    Manage 3PL agreement execution including invoice matching and controls

Supply Chain Support:
•    Actively manage any optimization projects, including IT improvements
•    Support Customer Service to meet urgent delivery requests from customers and monitor expectations
•    Work closely with Customer Service and Planning teams to provide transportation and warehousing solutions to improve our service to our customers while effectively managing costs
•    Work jointly with Quality to ensure all program requirements/standards regarding quality and food safety are implemented, practiced and maintained
•    Point of contact for recall procedures
•    Assist in the implementation of and conformance to the Environmental & Energy Management Systems within key Warehouse & Transportation areas

The base salary range for this position is $75,305 - $100,406 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
