Junior Controller
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Controller to join our team for a maternity leave replacement. In this role, you will support financial reporting, analysis and planning activities, while assisting senior team members in monitoring business performance.
Participating in the preparation of business reports and analysis.
Supporting in monitoring business activities: purchases, sales, inventories, fixed costs.
Supporting Senior Controller and CFO in financial analysis and reporting, as well as controlling the accuracy of accounting data and maintaining business data.
Assist with price management and price simulations as needed.
Planning Support:
Help prepare and upload company’s yearly and session plans.
Create and maintain excel templates and presentations required by the Region/Group based on the planning regional/group calendar.
Assist in analyzing different planning scenarios and comparing them to previous years or other planning periods.
Monthly Closure Activities:
Support the monthly closing process in SAP, focusing on the Controlling aspects and conducting regular variance analysis of costs vs previous periods and planning scenarios.
Creating ad hoc and regular analysis about delta of costs vs planning scenarios (COGS, OVH, A&P) and profitability analysis by Brand/SKU/Client.
Help estimate profitability for new projects required by Marketing and Sales teams.
Assist with updating price lists for permanent and seasonal products according to the commercial calendar.
Reporting:
Processing data and creating requested reports (Weekly, Actual, Consolidation…)
Preparing specific internal reports and reports for the Region with reference to turnover, margins and overheads.
Job requirements:
Economics bachelor’s degree is a must
1-2 years of experience in Finance & Accounting / Controlling is an advantage, but not a must
MS Office knowledge, with strong knowledge of Excel
Basic knowledge of SAP, Smart view / HFM (previous experience is a plus)
Familiarity with P&L concepts
