We have a current opening for a National Account Manager, Walgreens Seasonal and are actively reviewing applications.

As the Walgreen’s National Account Manager, Seasonal you will be responsible for executing and driving a retail sales plan for Walgreen’s that will result in the delivery of sales and profit growth on our Ferrero seasonal portfolio.  In addition, you will also be responsible for the Power Crunch portfolio for Walgreen’s.  You will be a primary contact to manage the business relationship with the Key Category Buyer at Walgreen’s. 

This role reports directly to the Drug Channel Director and will ideally be field-based in either the Midwest or New Jersey area.

  • Responsible for all aspects of Account Management with Walgreen’s for Seasonal and Power Crunch
  • Lead all sales calls, business reviews and develop key presentations to effectively drive initiatives for customer category and Ferrero
  • Own relationship with Walgreen’s category buyers and execute formalized, value-added engagement plan with established feedback loop to act on customer input
  • Develop customer specific plans working collaboratively with Trade Marketing, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management and Finance
  • Identify medium and long-term business opportunities at Walgreen’s in categories and present these opportunities internally and externally to Walgreen’s.
  • Align customer initiatives to Ferrero strategic enablers to drive a meaningful JBP process
  • Achieve KPI’s to contribute to total Walgreen’s KPI attainment
  • Use trade judiciously to drive demand at Walgreen’s during key seasonal holidays of Halloween, Holiday, Valentine’s Day and Easter along with Protein Bar category for Power Crunch.
  • Develop accurate SKU-level forecasts each month based on expected demand, seasons, and promotions and own forecast accuracy for Walgreen’s
  • Manage customer payments/ deduction process
  • At least 5-7 years of Sales, Account Management, Merchandising, and/or Category Management experience is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to build a successful career with a growing global company
  • Interpersonal skills to interface effectively with the necessary stakeholders
  • Strategic and proactive thinking to develop sales strategies and translate them into distribution, shelving, pricing and merchandising achievements to close gaps and increase sales
  • Strong data analytic skills to monitor, track and proactively address customer performance as well as understand contribution of Walgreen’s team with respect to volume, assortment, seasonal performance and distribution, report and track accounts as a contribution to the Drug team
  • Effective story telling competencies to present key insights in front of internal and external stakeholders
  • Understand contribution of Walgreen’s with respect to volume, assortment, seasonal performance and distribution.

The base salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $135,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
