The Vice President, National Grocery leads Ferrero USA’s largest and most strategic sales channel, with full ownership of sales, profit, and volume performance across a portfolio of 20+ iconic brands. This role is accountable for driving growth, strengthening retailer partnerships, and accelerating Ferrero’s evolution to a direct, best-in-class go-to-market model.

Reporting to the VP, Core Sales U.S., this is a field-based leadership role requiring 50–60% travel, with preferred candidate locations including New Jersey, Cincinnati, Chicago, or Texas. The VP National Grocery plays a critical role in shaping commercial strategy, leading a high-performing team, and positioning Ferrero as a preferred retail partner in the U.S. grocery landscape.

  • Own full P&L responsibility for the National Grocery channel, representing approximately $400M in net sales and ~15% of U.S. revenue, with accountability for forecast accuracy, trade spend, and financial performance.
  • Lead the National Grocery channel strategy and go-to-market transformation, including the transition from broker-led to direct selling models and omni-channel growth across brick-and-mortar and e-commerce.
  • Build and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with top national grocery retailers, delivering mutual growth through category leadership, innovation, and long-range planning.
  • Manage a $125MM trade investment budget, optimizing promotional effectiveness while driving consumption, household penetration, and category outperformance.
  • Lead annual sales planning and performance management, translating enterprise strategy into clear customer targets and KPIs with disciplined execution cadence.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Brand, Trade Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to ensure flawless innovation launches, strong in-store execution, and service excellence.
  • Represent Ferrero as a senior commercial leader with key customers, distributors, and industry forums, strengthening Ferrero’s reputation as a preferred retail partner.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing organization of 20+ sales associates, including talent strategy, succession planning, coaching, and leadership development.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive sales leadership experience within CPG, with deep expertise in the U.S. grocery channel.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record leading large, complex sales organizations and delivering sustained financial results.
  • Strong experience managing national accounts, Joint Business Planning, category management, and trade fund optimization.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen, including P&L ownership and trade investment management.o
  • Strategic, enterprise-level thinker with the ability to translate insights into action and influence senior customer and internal stakeholders.

The base salary range for this position is $195,000 - $250,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
