The Convenience Store National Account Manager Distributors, Northeast will be responsible for building executive relationships and driving a sales plan for our Northeast Regional Distributor partners that will result in the delivery of sales and profit growth of existing and new Ferrero products.  You will be a primary contact to manage the business relationship with our Key Accounts and broker partners, while strategically engaging internally with our cross functional partners.  This position will report to the Director of Convenience stores. 

This role is field-based with candidates preferably located in the Northeast, but the ideal candidate will be able to frequently engage our NE business partners and reach our NJ headquarters. 

  • Meet Regional Distributor sales group category revenue, volume, growth, profit, share targets, distribution, shelving, pricing and merchandising goals
  • Develop and maintain accurate SKU-level forecasts each month based on expected demand, seasons, and promotions and update forecasts as necessary  
  • Develop and execute promotional plans with Regional Distributors and Redistributors.  Use trade judiciously to drive demand, staying within assigned trade budget
  • Secure category input during planogram planning season by partnering with Category Management, both internal and with our Broker Partner
  • Own relationship with key distributor contacts and execute formalized, value-added engagement plan with established feedback loop to act on customer input
  • Develop and maintain promotional strategy for distributors, redistributors and cash and carry customers, staying within fair and equitable guardrails
  • Work collaboratively with Club team to develop the strategy as well as innovative and insightful content to drive category growth through select customers
  • Develop and execute a seasonal strategy for select distributor partners
  • Identify medium and long-term business opportunities with Regional Distributors and Tradeshows
  • Working with Revenue Growth Manager (RGM), conduct post-promotional analysis (ROI)
  • Work with redistributor network to drive demand, staying within assigned trade budget 
  • At least 8 years of Sales, Account Management, Merchandising, and/or Category Management experience is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, M.B.A is preferred
  • Prior Convenience Store Experience is strongly preferred
  • Interpersonal skills to interface effectively with the necessary internal and external stakeholders
  • Strategic and proactive thinking to develop sales strategies and translate strategy into distribution, shelving, pricing and merchandising objectives
  • Strong data analysis skills to monitor performance in category and develop strategies to close gaps, increase sales, etc.
  • Management presentation competencies to effectively present key insights in front of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication and follow up skills a must.  This candidate will be required to provide clear and concise written follow up for all customers and internal partners
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite required, including strong storytelling skills.  Proficiency in Circana, DOT Expressway and MSA strongly preferred
  • Travel required 15% of the time

The base salary range for this position is $118,000.00 - $142,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
