About the role:
The Transport Coordinator will be introduced and have the chance to follow the National and Export Transport operational activities of a large Manufacturing site with global exposure, understanding the challenges of the business seasonality. He/she will have the opportunity to explore the End-to-End Supply Chain activities - and how they work together to add value and deliver the experience to our customers.
Main responsabilities :
Ensure the delivery and invoicing of products to customers, while respecting deadlines, quality and transport prices.
Plan and manage the flow of shipments
- Interacting with transport and logistic providers worldwide to ensure the optimal service level to our clients
- Analyze requests: translate needs into a shipping plan:
- Create a shipping program in accordance with customers and internal constraints,
- Calculate the number of trucks according to the planned production, the shipping program, the logistic capacities, the variations of needs, the quantities to be shipped, etc...
- Follow the shipping schedule: establish the necessary documents so that the trucks leave the factory quickly,
- Coordinating export activities and documentation together with the customs broker and other stakeholders
- Ensuring the optimal freight allocation to suppliers considering available capacities and freight costs
- Choose the carriers according to the defined criteria,
- Invoice the factories for the goods and manage the related documents,
- Complying transportation volume forecasts and projections to contribute to the season preparation
- Contributing to the industrial warehouse infrastructures preparation against the transport needs.
Information management & Project
- Collect useful commercial information from the customer and relay it internally,
- Establish and update dashboards and shipment management documents,
- Export documentation and customs procedures management
- Adherence to the budget
- Performance management and KPI monitoring
- Quality Compliance
- Alongside with the Supply Chain Development area and Department Managers, actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of projects
During the inter-season period, the Transport Coordinator will be involved in development projects in the area and reinforce group initiatives.
Who we are looking for:
The successful candidate will be an motivated individual specialized in transport & customs management, (food or plant products categories is a plus). The candidate must be team player, adaptable, flexible, with a strategic global mindset.
REQUIRED:
- Degree in Economics, Management Engineering or Supply Chain Management;
- Experience in Logistics & Transportation is considered as plus;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
- English and French fluency; Any other language is a plus;
- Experience with SAP ECC is a plus.

- Ability to solve problems and adapt with the demand of the business.
- Flexibility of mind and speed of reaction.
