The Stores Operator is responsible for Technical Warehouse materials management aspects for all UGP’s, Maintenance, Facilities, Quality Lab, and 3rd Party cleaning company. 
Working in a Team Environment, the Stores Operator shall coordinate and optimize all Technical Warehouse functions in order to achieve maximize efficiency in a timely, safe, and cost effective manner that meets Ferrero standards.
Support the Stores Supervisor and provide input to the processes of training and the development of a positive team-based environment.
Enforce and promote all company guidelines, policies and good manufacturing practices pertaining to all facets of the business, not limited to and including food safety, environmental safety, and health & safety.

GOODS RECEIVING

• Physically receive all deliveries related to Stores

• Ensure pack slips refer to internal purchase orders and are accurate, taking appropriate steps with variances are observed

• Verify quantity/quality of goods for correctness

• Verify materials match internal purchase order materials

• Conduct goods receipt in SAP and document/file paperwork accordingly

• Create internal material labels and physically put away materials in correct Stores locations

• Physically receive deliveries related to capital investments and notify technically responsible person

• Physically receive direct costs material deliveries, processing the goods receipt in SAP and notifying the responsible party of material arrival

• Physically receive direct costs service deliveries, notifying the responsible party of delivery

• Ensure A/P and Purchasing Departments are notified of any receiving issues and support any necessary goods returns as necessary

• Coordinate with 3rd party and/or courier when required for scheduling of deliveries

• Prepare goods receipt report on a daily basis

GOODS OUTGOING

• Complete internal tracking forms for materials leaving the Plant

• Coordinate with 3rd party and/or courier when required for outgoing shipments

• Physically transfer materials onto carrier’s vehicle and obtain signature to verify material transfer to 3rd party

VENDOR MANAGED INVENTORY PROGRAM

• Oversee the daily repleneshment of vendor managed materials working directly with all participating vendor representatives

• Ensure goods receipts and issues are accurately posted in SAP

• Obtain constructive feedback from affected Department Leaders regarding performance of the program

• Assist Stores Supervisor to make continuous improvements to the program

WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT

• Conduct cycle counts all year round based on priority (annual/critical/monthly ecc.)

• Support Stores Supervisor in analyzing turnover, identifying duplicate and obsolete materials, and continuously improving storage and housekeeping methods

• Provide technical support as necessary to all SAP users in the context of reserving materials from Stores for use

• Supports Stores Supervisor with MRP planning for all technical Maintenance, and Production consumable materials

• Any other activity requested by the Stores Supervisor

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

• Identify and share with Stores Supervisor any ideas for potential improvement relative to any aspect of Stores Operations

• Collaborate with all affected Departments to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness of goods and services provided by the Technical Warehouse Department

ISO FOOD QUALITY

• Ensure all program requirements/standards regarding ISO 9001 are implemented, practiced, and maintained

ISO FOOD SAFETY

Ensure all program requirements/standards regarding ISO 22001 are implemented, practiced, and maintained

• Participate in annual audits of all Stores Chemical materials, ensuring correct separation storage of food and non-food grade materials

• Ensure records (master file/MSDS ecc.) are reviewed and updated on a regular basis, jointly supporting H&S and Quality Departments

ISO EMS

• Ensure all program requirements/standards regarding ISO 14001 are implemented, practiced and maintained

• Ensure correct separation of flammable/combustible materials from other chemicals within Stores and Chemical Stores

• Conduct monthly inspections for flammable/combustible materials, immediately reporting any deficiencies to Stores Supervisor

• Perform monthly collection of hazardous waste from Plant satellite hazardous waste storage locations

• Effectively store collected hazardous waste in designated area of Chemical Stores, ensuring all materials are stored and labelled according to waste class

• Transfer manifest of hazardous waste materials to carrier on a scheduled monthly basis

• Participate in TDG and spill response training as prescribed by H&S Department

• Participate in monthly environmental talks

Health & Safety

• Participate in annual training from H&S Department

• Participate in monthly safety talks

• Ensure all program requirements/standards are implemented, practiced, and maintained

• Responsible for housekeeping of Stores, Chemical Stores, and all related satellite storage and receiving areas

• Lead by example


 

• Strong inventory management skills

• Strong understanding of spare parts stock rotation and repleneshment processes

• Good knowledge of material handling technical equipment for inbound and outgoing goods movements

• Good knowledge and use of MS Office, SAP

• Strong communications skills for working both with internal departments and also external vendors and partners.

• Highly organized with demonstrated problem solving skills

• Technically inclined and detail orientated

• Strong sense of urgency

• Able to work independently and with minimal supervision
