Sales Development Project Manager
As a Project Manager for Sales and Business related projects, you will play a key role in coordinating and monitoring cross-functional projects with a strong focus on Sales and Trade Marketing processes, including Revenue, Customer, and Category Management. You will ensure the correct implementation of project plans and phases, respecting resources, budget, and timelines, while driving continuous improvement and supporting business transformation. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner for stakeholders, providing visibility on progress and enabling data-driven decision-making.
Your role will have a strong focus on Sales-related initiatives. You will act as Project Manager for business projects in Sales and Trade Marketing, understanding key processes such as customer visits, client management, and incentive programs. You will support AI-driven initiatives in Sales to ensure proper integration and adoption, collaborate on supply-related projectAI-driven initiatives in Sales ts such as advanced picking and Value chain Optimization (VCO) - Centralization, and leverage the HERA data warehouse to develop and maintain reporting tools that support sales performance. You will perform impact analyses on business processes and ongoing projects, design KPIs and performance measurement methodologies, and promote a data-driven culture within the Business Development and Sales teams.
You will define project scope, objectives, and operating plans, setting activities, timelines, and responsibilities for each stream. You will coordinate project streams to guarantee proper execution of plans and phases, facilitate collaboration among teams and subject matter experts (local and central), and promote best practice sharing. You will monitor progress in terms of deliverables and timelines, assess the feasibility of objectives, and recommend corrective actions when needed. You will prepare and present periodic status reports to the Project Steering Committee and stakeholders and provide monthly updates against plans.
You hold a Master’s degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or a related field and have at least 7 years of experience in Project Management roles, preferably within Sales or Commercial environments. You have strong knowledge of Sales processes, with familiarity in Supply Chain and Marketing, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You are highly proficient in Excel and MS Office, and experience with data warehouse and reporting tools is a plus.
You bring outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage complex projects. Fluency in Italian and exceptional English are essential.
