About the Role:

If you’re looking for a role with variety, this is it. As a Junior Key Account Manager your main focus will be to support sales development across a number of clients. You’ll work alongside the head of Accounts to build brilliant relationships with a breadth of clients define sales strategies, targets, programs, commercial initiatives and promotional policies

Main Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Key Account Manager, the main tasks are management in regard to condition negotiations, proposal of an optimal activity plan, market analysis with the customer, listing discussions, assortment optimization, optimization of individual logistics solutions. 

CHANNEL MANAGEMENT:

• Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape from various sources.

• Conduct customized analyses per brand/segment, proposing potential strategies.

• Communicate local development updates and aid in problem-solving.

• Analyze client performance, implementing solutions as needed (new initiatives, events, pricing).

ACTIVITY PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT:

• Coordinate activities between Customer Service and Trade Marketing for aligned stock allocation.

• Continuously plan national activities and weekly quantities.

• Monitor own and competitor pricing, maintaining key trade relationships.

• Support client sales forecasts and monitor customer sales performance.

BUDGET MANAGEMENT:

• Collaborate with trade marketing and finance for aligned budget management.

• Forecast commercial and structure costs, propose corrective actions for budget gaps.

CLAIMS MANAGEMENT:

• Facilitate communication between Finance and Banners for accounting gaps. • Attend weekly catch-up meetings to monitor the situation.

Who we are looking for:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Sales Management / Economics
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in customer facing positions (e.g. account management, field sales)
• Fluency in English and French
• Knowledge of commercial and office software (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience gained in FMCG company would be an advantage
