Shopper & Data Analytics OOH

As a Shopper & Data Analytics Specialist OOH, you will play a key role in deepening the understanding of shopper behavior across Out of Home channels, helping to identify growth opportunities and shape category development strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to turn shopper insights into actionable recommendations, contributing to the continuous evolution of the consumer experience and commercial performance across different channels and customers.
You will contribute to building a comprehensive understanding of shopper motivations, purchasing drivers, and barriers throughout the path to purchase across indirect channels such as wholesalers, direct channels including bars, restaurants and hotels, as well as mini chains and travel retail customers. You will analyze shopper behavior and market data to uncover insights that can generate category growth opportunities tailored to specific channels and customers.
You will support the definition of guidelines and activation standards for key retail mix elements within the OOH environment, including point-of-purchase materials and permanent display solutions. You will contribute to assortment development initiatives and support the implementation of Nutella Recipe projects dedicated to OOH channels.
You will be involved in the development of innovative point-of-sale experiences, exploring new approaches to category management, permanent merchandising solutions, and the adoption of pre-store and in-store technologies. You will support the definition of customer development strategies and continuously expand category knowledge, both within established business areas and emerging opportunities in the OOH channel.
You will collaborate in the design and execution of research plans aimed at understanding shopper behavior, decision-making processes, and channel dynamics. In addition, you will support Category Management projects by facilitating data collection, analysis, and sharing activities, helping to strengthen category development initiatives. A key aspect of your role will be enhancing data knowledge across the organization and translating complex analyses into clear and actionable insights for Sales and other stakeholders.
You bring a strong analytical mindset and a genuine curiosity about understanding what drives shopper behavior. Through your Master’s Degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related field, combined with your professional experience in Marketing or Trade & Shopper Marketing, you contribute a solid foundation for transforming data into strategic recommendations.
You bring the ability to interpret complex information, identify meaningful trends, and uncover opportunities that support business growth. Your understanding of different markets and cultural contexts allows you to approach challenges with a broad perspective and adapt insights to diverse business environments.
You contribute advanced analytical capabilities, particularly in Excel, and you are comfortable working with large datasets to generate actionable insights. Your proficiency in PowerPoint and Word enables you to communicate findings effectively and engage stakeholders across the organization. Experience within the FMCG industry would further strengthen the value you can bring to the team.
You bring strong communication skills, fluency in Italian and English, and a collaborative approach that allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering knowledge sharing and supporting data-driven decision-making.

The role is classified at Level 1° under the National Collective Agreement for the Food Industry (CCNL Industria Alimentare). The guaranteed minimum base annual gross salary established by the CCNL for the applicable level is € 43.249. The compensation package also includes an annual variable component with a target of up to 5% of base salary. The overall compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills, and qualifications of the selected candidate.
