As a Sales Forecast Planner, this role contributes directly to business performance by ensuring accurate and reliable sales forecasts across distributor. The position supports sustainable growth by balancing demand and supply, while minimizing risks such as stock shortages, product returns, and obsolescence.

  • Review and challenge distributor sales forecasts across customers, brands, SKUs, regions, and timelines
  • Validate assumptions using historical data, promotional plans, and market insights
  • Ensure feasibility considering stock availability, product freshness, and supply constraints
  • Integrate inputs from Sales, Trade Marketing, and Key Account teams
  • Identify risks (e.g., stock-out, overstock) and recommend corrective actions
  • Track forecast accuracy versus actual sales performance and analyse deviations and identify root causes (e.g., forecast bias, execution gaps, demand shifts)
  • Update rolling forecasts based on latest performance trends
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive corrective actions
  • Translate validated forecasts into operational demand plans (up to 18 months horizon), align monthly forecasts with country stakeholders
  • Monitor stock levels across regions and warehouses to ensure availability and freshness
  • Lead regular demand review meetings to align forecasts with sales trends and supply plans
  • Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain and Trade Marketing teams to resolve gaps
  • Ensure consistency and alignment across all stakeholders
  • Monitor and improve forecast accuracy and bias
  • Strengthen forecasting processes, tools, and data quality
  • Support reconciliation between system data and physical stock
  • University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant professional experience in sales analysis and forecasting
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in demand or sales forecasting
  • Experience in working with large datasets and planning tools, with ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across commercial and supply functions
  • A detail-oriented approach and proactiveness
  • Advances Excell skills. Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools is considered a plus
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, written and spoken
