Be the responsible at Region Level of Media guidelines definition and implementation in full alignment with the guidelines set by the Area Media Manager. Is in charge of allocating annual Media Planning resource at Region level in total accordance with Region Marketing Managers category and HRM. Oversees the overall media activities and projects and ensures the respect of Group Media Procurement standards and framework also by periodically monitoring and reporting campaign results and agencies performances.

REGION MEDIA GUIDELINES IMPLEMENTATION DURING BUDGET PROCESS

  • Define Region Media guidelines and strategies by category, according to Region Brand strategy defined by RMMCs and Region priorities identified by HRM, in alignment with the Area Media guidelines, Area media manager
  • Ensure Region Media guidelines implementation, driving brand visibility, local relevance and conversion. Drive digital transformation and shaping an integrated media strategy that seamlessly includes visibility, retail media and social influencer within a diverse and dynamic context
  • Ensure the respect and alignment between Region Media guidelines and Media Procurement & Governance frameworks and standards defined by the Group
  • Lead to implement the Area and Group Media guidelines and make sure of full compliance
  • Leverage enhanced media planning tools (consumer journey, touch points planning, Budget allocation) and explore/apply new solutions such as AI, to enhance campaign efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Integrate retail media into the media mix, ensuring it effectively supports brand growth and delivers sales targets, while managing allocated budget with full transparency, compliance and ROAS accountability.
  • Lead to drive media evolution riding on emerging trend in local market, to make sure of the best efficiency and effectiveness

REGION MEDIA PLANNING

  • Define the Region Media Budget (including the split by Media channels) in accordance with the RMMCs and HRM based on Region business priorities
  • Ensure the respect of standards and guidelines defined by Area Media Procurement, responsible for the definition of yearly Region Media planning 
  • Define Region Media mix & plan, guaranteeing full coherency with Area media priorities and business needs in line with Area Media Procurement standards

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION & ROADMAP DEVELOPMENT

  • In support of Ferrero’s digital evolution, lead to develop Media Roadmap that outlines priority and innovation milestones 
  • Establish ways of working that align media practices with retail oriented, profitability, driving cross-functional collaboration between marketing and commercial teams
  • Lead to develop digital and social media strategy and planning to create synergy of supporting social commerce acceleration

MEDIA SUPERVISION & SUPPORT

  • Supervise and review Media campaign results in alignment with HRM and RMMCs, ensuring that Media rules and framework are fully respected and implemented
  • Supervise media agencies to develop media projects/campaigns with the clear alignment of HRM and RMMCs
  • Ensure media tracking is fully in place with the qualified 3rd party data support, fully compliant with group media guideline
  • Act as focal point from Region marketing to support global media pitch, with perfect alignment from area media manager and HRM

MONITORING AND REPORTING

  • Monitor media KPIs and keep regular update to HRM and Area Media Manager for Region media campaign activations.
  • Ensures t indicators of key retail media performance within pricing guarantees, while maintaining full compliance to Group Media Procurement & Governance policies.
  • Works with third-party verification partners, ensuring high-quality standards for all media touchpoints and oversee the delivery of all supporting documentation (e.g., airing certificates, agency reports, post-tracking data) to validate campaign performance.

TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in agency and/or in-house
  • Experience in maximizing the co-operation, integration and interaction between agencies and marketing team
  • In-depth understanding of media consumption trends at local level and appropriate channels for Ferrero categories
  • Business acumen and sound attention for details without losing the focus on big picture
  • Solid knowledge of media metrics and ability to distill insights to improve touch point plan and media efficiency/effectiveness
  • A track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams and in matrix organizations, a track record of integrity and discipline
  • The capability to lead analysis, synthesis and modelling to be able to take strategic decisions
  • Strong communication, presentation and strategic influencing skills
