About the Role:
As a Junior Technologist in our chocolate production plant, you will be responsible for developing and improving the production processes to ensure the high quality of Ferrero products. As a technologist, you will be involved in conducting tests, experiments and analysis to solve problems and optimize the production line for efficiency and consistency. In addition, the role will give you an opportunity to work alongside Senior Technologists as well as our Production staff to implement new technologies, ingredients and techniques that will ultimately improve the entire chocolate production process.
Main Responsibilities:
• Assistance in monitoring and controlling production processes related to chocolate manufacturing, including mixing ingredients, tempering, molding, and packaging.
• Performing quality tests on products and ingredients to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace and ensuring adherence to sanitary standards.
• Collaborating with other plant employees such as technologists, engineers, and machine operators to optimize production processes.
• Providing support in troubleshooting technical issues and performing routine maintenance on production equipment.
• Assisting in the implementation of new recipes or production technologies.
• Documenting production-related activities, including reporting results, observations, and actions taken during the production process.
• A junior technologist in the chocolate industry plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth production processes and high-quality products. Their work supports the plants effort in achieving production goals and maintaining high quality standards.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related fields is required
- Master's Degree is a plus
- Experience related to food processing, with preferred work experience within food manufacturing
- Solid knowledge of production processes, quality control, chemical analysis, and management of technical documentation
Compensation Data
The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
