The role is responsible for driving strategy and execution for Kinder Biscuits, Kinder Chocolate, and new products across eight markets: Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. The role overs the full brand scope with a high focus on delivering a holistic 360 marketing plan which includes ATL and BTL programs, portfolio review, packaging artwork development as well as budget management. The position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Media, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) and requires strong analytical skills and cross-market project leadership.
- Analyze brand performance data across SEA and HKTW markets and recommend action plans to drive brand growth
- Manage ongoing monthly tracking and update of brand performance, including performance in Sales to Distributor, Sales to Trade, Sales to Consumer, and Market share data
- Recommend actionable strategies to drive brand growth and support the development and course-correction of brand plans
- Monitor and report monthly brand performance metrics and competitor activities across markets
- Support brand planning by contributing to the definition of brand objectives and targets (1 to 3 years strategic business planning), and present plans during annual OGSM sessions
- Identify market opportunities for new products, formats, and initiatives; collaborate with Area and Regional teams for assessment and commercialization
- Ensure timely and effective execution of all brand marketing activities across markets
- Collaborate with the Regional Marketing team to exchange best practices and relevant information
- Partner with the Regional team to develop ATL assets, including local and language adaptations for TV advertising
- Develop annual media briefs and strategies; manage and execute media plans in coordination with media agencies
- Oversee social media calendars and activations with social media agencies
- Manage PR plans and activities with PR agencies
- Lead multiple RDP/packaging projects throughout the year, ensuring timely updates and issue escalation to stakeholders and leadership
- Ensure accuracy and timely approval of all artworks
- Manage marketing claims with Legal and ensure correct system input
- Develop and adapt POSMs in collaboration with Creative and Trade Marketing teams
- Create on-pack designs and premiums, ensuring compliance with legal and quality standards in partnership with relevant teams
- Develop consumer promotions tailored to each market, working closely with cross-functional teams Monitor implementation of activity grids to ensure alignment and execution
- Work closely with the Supply Chain team to track production, stock levels, and launch timelines across markets
- Manage brand budgets across markets, including PO and invoice oversight to ensure accurate and timely payments
- Provide financial updates (budget, budget review, A&P tracking) to the Finance team as needed
- Manage and support the development of the direct report, fostering growth and performance
- University degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Relevant experience in FMCG Brand Marketing, with knowledge of the Asia market, including consumer behavior and FMCG dynamics
- Strong foundation in marketing and project management
- Solid numerical and analytical skills, with cognitive agility and high attention to detail
- Ability to adapt and multitask effectively in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment
- High level of responsibility and proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate issues and propose solutions
- Strong commercial acumen and collaborative approach across functions and with diverse stakeholders
- Effective time management, efficiency in work execution, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in managing teams is considered an advantage
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools; familiarity with SAP is preferred
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
