As Brand Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the Marketing strategy of the assigned  brands, in coordination with the guidelines coming from Region Marketing from the Group. You will be an essential member of the team to drive future success by developing efficient brand plans and enable a strong collaboration with key stakeholders: sales and trade marketing, other support departments (supply chain, controlling& finance, etc.), but also with partner agencies/suppliers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute all marketing, advertising, promotion plans, events and communications activities;
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current competitive environment and industry trends, oversee categories and competitive analysis, generate insights and integrate them in efficient consumer & shopper activation (out of stores and in stores);
  • Analyze and report the performance of the brands (data on sell-in, sell-out, pricing, stock levels, distribution, market share, consumers habits, etc.) 
  • Develop strong 360 communication campaigns; lead the direction of creative and implementation with the agencies and internal stakeholeder departments. Assess the eficiency of campaigns KPIs by using available data (with regard to effects on sales, distribution, penetration, viewability, engagement, any other KPI depending on type of campaign). Permanent contact with Region Marketing Dept, to receive and adapt the international tools provided by the Group in order to implement the international communication in a relevant way for Romanian consumers;
  • Lead the media agency briefing based on approved yearly marketing plan, agreed brand strategy and budget and follow the day to day work (approve media plans, control delivery and verify the effectiveness of actual media input based on target achievement and budget status);
  • Lead creative development or adaptation for all communication materials and promotional activities (incl sponsorship deals, in-store and consumer promotions, events, digital, social media, PR and co-marketing activities);
  • Coordinate all the processes – external (Region MKT Dept.) and  local (with all the agencies- creative, BTL, production, media) in order to execute the yearly approved marketing plan in time and respecting Ferrero way of working and procedures;
  • Propose the portfolio for the brands within the area of responsibility & price positioning recommendations, in line with Group strategy and based on deep understanding of the market and consumers behaviors;
  • Adapt labels & artworks to the needs of the local market, in line with international guidelines and local regulations and coordinate the related documentation flow (strongly execution needed);
  • Plan in coherence with the defined strategy the budgets for the brands in the area of responsibility: i.e. advertising and promotional costs, costs associated with market and consumer research, other mktg costs; to supervise and monitor compliance with the budgeted figures and the ongoing economic performance of the brands in the whole area of responsibility and propose corrective actions, if necessary;
  • Prepare and give presentations to internal and external target groups (e.g. sales team, company management, central functions) on topics related to marketing projects and brands development;
  • Follow local/Group procedures, in  line with GRC and  internal audit requirments;

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Economics (a Degree in Marketing is considered as a plus);
  • 3+ years experience in Marketing field (preferably in FMCG sector);
  • Good knowledge of English language, written and spoken;
  • Excellent computer skills is a must: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint. SAP is an advantage;
  • Financial skills to read P&L of brand/category and  preparing a doc business plans;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and handle multiple priorities successfully within scheduled timelines;
  • Team player able to effectively interact and work with various functional departments;
  • Passion, energy and drive to work with world-class brands;
