Procurement Controlling Specialist

We are looking for a Indirect Procurement Controlling Specialist to join the Indirect Procurement Controlling team at Ferrero headquarters in Luxembourg, supporting the Sales & Marketing categories within General Purchases.

In this role, you will provide timely, accurate financial insights to support decision-making and provide governance and guidance across finance-related processes. Working with stakeholders across Finance and other functions, you will analyze business and operational performance and forecast future results.

Your key stakeholders will include GBS and Group Categories Controlling within Finance, as well as the General Procurement department and Sales & Marketing requestors.

Thanks to your analytical approach, you will provide reporting and analytical support to central and local entities across budget, forecast and actual scenarios, including spend analysis. You will contribute to the review of budget and forecast planning processes, ensuring the required Material Group-level detail, and analyze actual costs against planned objectives and prior-year actuals, identifying and explaining key variances.

You will conduct Procurement efficiency analyses, including savings, efficiencies versus budget and cost avoidances, and review the results with Procurement on a monthly basis. You will also support cross-functional activities, including preparation for Long-term Contract and Investment Committee meetings, ad hoc projects and analyses to support business decisions and efficiency.

Thanks to your financial understanding, you will conduct Vendor Financial Assessments for General Purchases and monitor supplier financing performance against budget and forecast, in line with Discretionary Cash Flow Controlling requirements. You will also support General Purchases categories in implementing the supplier financing plan.

You hold a university degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance and bring 5- 8 years of professional experience in financial controlling within the FMCG sector and/or a consulting firm.

Thanks to your analytical mindset and attention to detail, you are able to synthesize complex information into clear insights. You bring good organizational and problem-solving skills, together with a self-motivated and goal-oriented approach. You are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, building effective relationships with stakeholders at different levels. Your flexibility and adaptability allow you to acquire new knowledge and integrate it into your existing skills, while your understanding of business processes helps you identify risks and opportunities.

You are fluent in English and have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, while knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Power BI is considered an advantage. You also bring technical skills in data management and reporting software, with the ability to develop tools that improve work efficiency.
