Stage

For our Global Headquarters in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Risk Management Intern to join our Corporate Finance team for a 6-month internship starting in March 2027.

You will be able to follow our broad and dynamic mandate covering FX, commodities, and interest rates, offering a rare opportunity to gain holistic exposure to global financial markets and to the usage of financial derivatives. Throughout the internship, you will engage continuously with market developments, using best-in-class tools such as Bloomberg and leading investment bank platforms to understand and interpret key price drivers. You will contribute hands-on to the quantitative backbone of the team, from building custom forward and interest rate curves to supporting derivatives valuation. Along the way, you will develop your own market view through fundamental, positioning and seasonal analysis.
This position is ideal for intellectually curious students with a strong quantitative mindset who want to bridge financial theory and real-world trading in an international corporate environment.

You will support the development and maintenance of derivatives valuation models, including Mark-to-Market (MtM) and sensitivity analyses such as option Greeks, while building custom forward and interest rate curves through bootstrapping and interpolation techniques using market data from Bloomberg and bank contributors.

Your role will also involve reviewing and analysing market trends across FX, commodities and interest rates, including CFTC Commitments of Traders (COT) positioning data, seasonality patterns and other key price drivers. Thanks to your analytical approach, you will contribute to regular market reviews and updates for the Corporate Finance team, translating complex market developments into clear and concise insights.

You will further contribute to the enhancement of risk management dashboards and reporting tools, while supporting ad-hoc projects within the team and gaining broader exposure to financial risk management activities.

Thanks to your involvement in the team, you will gain a solid understanding of Ferrero’s financial risk exposures across Foreign Exchange (FX), commodities and interest rates, and of how financial derivatives are used to hedge them.

Are you ready for this great challenge? Don’t miss the chance to apply!

To be eligible for the internship, you must be enrolled in an educational institution, or the internship must start and end within 12 months after your last school enrolment period. In addition, you must already hold EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Luxembourg which is valid at least until the end of August 2027.

You will bring your Degree in Master’s programme in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

You have strong interpersonal, team-working, and leadership skills. You demonstrate the ability to deliver while respecting deadlines. With proactive communication abilities, you will effectively engage with team members and stakeholders.

Fluency in English is essential for effective communication within the team and across departments.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is necessary for handling data and generating reports. You have a problem-solving approach and able to work with numbers confidently.

You are comfortable working with data and enjoy solving problems. Thanks to your analytical thinking and attention to detail, you are able to handle complex information with accuracy and reliability.

Experience with market data platforms such as Bloomberg, power user of Excel, and entry level knowledge in PowerBI and Python are all considered a strong advantage.
