Ferrero is looking for a commercially driven National Account Manager – Tesco to join our UK Sales team and play a key role in developing one of our most strategically important customer partnerships.

Reporting to the Business Unit Controller – Tesco, you will take ownership of a significant area of the Tesco business, developing and delivering customer plans that drive sustainable, profitable growth for both Ferrero and Tesco.

This is a high-profile commercial role where you will combine strong customer leadership with commercial rigour. You will build trusted relationships with key Tesco stakeholders, turn shopper, category and performance insights into action, and identify opportunities to grow some of the UK’s most recognised brands.

Working across Ferrero, you will bring together the right expertise and insight to deliver against our customer strategy, ensuring we remain focused not only on today's performance, but on building the long-term strength of our partnership with Tesco.

As National Account Manager – Tesco, you will take ownership of the commercial plan for your area of the account, ensuring it is aligned with the wider Tesco strategy and Ferrero’s commercial objectives. You will build strong and credible relationships with key customer stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of Tesco’s priorities and identifying opportunities to create mutual value and accelerate growth.

You will lead commercial discussions and negotiations within your area of responsibility, balancing customer requirements with Ferrero’s objectives to deliver sustainable and profitable outcomes. You will have a strong understanding of account performance across sales, volume, profitability, promotional investment and forecasting, proactively identifying risks and opportunities and translating these into clear actions.

You will contribute to the development and delivery of the Joint Business Plan, bringing together customer, category, shopper and commercial insights to help shape compelling plans for future growth. Working closely with colleagues across Category, Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, Finance, Supply Chain and Customer Marketing, you will ensure our plans are commercially robust, customer-focused and executed effectively.

You will also play an important role in promotional planning and evaluation, ensuring investment delivers against both customer and brand objectives. Through strong forecasting, commercial discipline and regular performance reviews, you will provide clear recommendations and insights to the Business Unit Controller and wider stakeholders, helping inform key customer and commercial decisions.

You will be an experienced commercial professional with a strong understanding of the FMCG and UK grocery environment, ideally with experience managing a major national grocery customer or similarly large and complex account.

Commercially astute and highly analytical, you will be confident working with the key drivers of account performance, including P&L, pricing, promotional investment, forecasting, volume and profitability. You will be comfortable using data and insight to understand performance, identify opportunities and turn your findings into clear commercial actions.

You will be a strong relationship builder and confident negotiator, able to develop credibility with customers while influencing effectively across a complex internal organisation. You will know how to balance the needs of the customer with the commercial priorities of the business and will be comfortable taking ownership and making informed decisions.

We are looking for someone who brings energy, curiosity and ambition to the role. You will be able to see the bigger strategic picture while maintaining the commercial discipline and attention to detail required to deliver consistently strong execution.

Previous experience working directly with Tesco would be advantageous but is not essential. What is most important is a strong track record within FMCG, experience of managing a significant grocery customer and the commercial capability to make an impact within one of Ferrero’s most important customer partnerships.
