Ferrero is looking for a commercially driven National Account Executive – Tesco to join our UK Sales team and support the development of one of our most strategically important customer partnerships.

Reporting to the National Account Manager – Tesco, you will play an important role in the day-to-day management and delivery of the Tesco account, supporting the execution of customer plans and helping drive sustainable, profitable growth for both Ferrero and Tesco.

This is an exciting opportunity to build your commercial career within a major FMCG organisation, gaining exposure to a large and complex grocery customer while working with some of the UK’s most recognised and loved brands.

You will work closely with the National Account Manager and wider Tesco team, combining strong commercial analysis with excellent execution. From understanding account performance and supporting promotional plans to preparing customer meetings and identifying opportunities for growth, you will develop a broad understanding of what it takes to successfully manage a major national account.

As National Account Executive – Tesco, you will support the National Account Manager in delivering the commercial plan for the Tesco account, helping ensure customer activity is executed effectively and aligned with Ferrero’s wider commercial and brand objectives.

You will monitor and analyse customer performance, using sales, promotional and market data to identify trends, risks and opportunities. Turning data into meaningful insight will be an important part of the role, enabling you to make recommendations and support commercial decision-making across the account.

You will support the planning, implementation and evaluation of promotional activity, working with internal teams to ensure plans are accurate, commercially effective and delivered on time. You will also contribute to forecasting and volume planning, helping maintain strong visibility of expected performance and highlighting potential issues or opportunities.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across Category, Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, Finance, Supply Chain and Customer Marketing, you will help coordinate activity across the Tesco account and ensure customer plans are brought to life effectively.

You will also develop relationships with relevant Tesco contacts and support customer meetings, preparing commercial information, presentations and recommendations. As your knowledge and experience develop, you will have the opportunity to take increasing ownership of areas of the account and contribute more broadly to the development of the Tesco customer strategy.

You will be a commercially minded individual looking to build or continue your career within FMCG Sales and National Account Management. You may already have experience within an Account Executive, Commercial Executive or similar customer-facing role, or have developed strong commercial experience that you are ready to take into a major national account environment.

You will be confident working with data and numbers, with strong analytical skills and the ability to turn information into clear insights and actions. An understanding of sales performance, forecasting, promotions and commercial investment would be beneficial, alongside a genuine interest in customers, shoppers and the UK grocery market.

You will be highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurately and on time.

A confident communicator and collaborative team player, you will be able to build effective relationships across different functions and will be comfortable developing your customer-facing skills with Tesco stakeholders.

Most importantly, you will bring commercial curiosity, initiative and a desire to learn. You will be keen to understand what drives customer and category performance, challenge yourself to identify opportunities and take increasing ownership as you develop within the role.

Previous Tesco experience is not essential. We are looking for someone with the commercial potential, analytical capability and ambition to develop their career within one of Ferrero’s most important customer partnerships.
