Ferrero is looking for a technically strong and commercially minded Financial Reporting Lead to join our UK&I Finance team. This is a high-impact role responsible for leading all aspects of financial reporting, statutory compliance, group reporting, and audit management across our UK and Ireland businesses.

Working closely with the UK&I CFO, Group Finance teams, Shared Services, and external stakeholders, you will ensure the integrity of our financial reporting while driving compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and Ferrero Group standards. The role also offers exposure to taxation, governance, risk management, and fixed asset accounting, providing a broad and varied remit within a dynamic FMCG environment.

This position is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys combining technical expertise, stakeholder management, and leadership to support business performance and ensure robust financial governance.

As Financial Reporting Lead, you will take ownership of the preparation and publication of statutory accounts for all UK&I legal entities, ensuring full compliance with Group accounting standards, IFRS, and UK GAAP requirements. You will lead the annual external audit process and act as the key liaison between auditors, finance teams, and business stakeholders.

You will oversee the month-end reporting process, including the preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, journal postings, and general ledger reconciliations within SAP. You will be responsible for the timely submission of monthly Group consolidation packages and will investigate and resolve complex accounting matters as they arise.

The role requires close collaboration with Shared Services and international Ferrero entities to manage intercompany reconciliations and support a smooth and accurate financial close process. You will also provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making and ensure that internal controls are effectively implemented and documented in line with company policies.

In addition, you will support local tax compliance and reporting activities, ensuring obligations are met accurately and on time while managing tax audits, enquiries, and external advisor relationships where required.

You will oversee fixed asset accounting activities and support inventory governance processes, ensuring adherence to Group asset management procedures and reporting requirements.

Working closely with Internal Audit, Group Administration, and Governance, Risk & Compliance teams, you will contribute to the delivery of audit action plans, strengthen control environments, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and support the achievement of unqualified audit opinions.

You are a professionally qualified or part qualified accountant with significant experience in financial reporting, statutory accounting, and audit management. You possess strong technical expertise in IFRS and UK GAAP and have a solid understanding of taxation principles and financial controls.

You are comfortable managing complex reporting requirements and can translate technical accounting concepts into clear and actionable insights for a broad range of stakeholders. Experience working with SAP is essential, while exposure to Oracle HFM would be advantageous.

You are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment. Your collaborative approach and strong stakeholder management skills enable you to build effective relationships across finance teams, senior leadership, Group functions, and external partners.

Experience within the FMCG sector would be beneficial, although we welcome applications from candidates with strong financial reporting experience gained in other complex and fast-moving industries.

Most importantly, you are passionate about delivering financial excellence, driving continuous improvement, and leading with integrity, collaboration, and accountability.
