Demand Planning Specialist - Levante (12-months fixed-term contract)

You will support the development and management of the demand plan for the Levant markets, translating commercial plans, market dynamics and customer requirements into a reliable consensus forecast.

Working across Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria, you will connect Commercial teams with Supply Planning and Customer Service to strengthen product availability and service levels.

You will bring market understanding to demand decisions, challenge inputs with facts, anticipate risks and opportunities, and provide a timely demand signal that supports effective supply planning.

You will develop and review forecasts at product, brand, category and market level, combining historical sales, market trends, commercial plans, promotions, seasonality, distribution changes and new business opportunities. You will examine the data behind each assumption, identify meaningful patterns and translate complex inputs into a clear and realistic view of future demand for stakeholders.

You will monitor forecast accuracy and forecast bias, investigate the root causes of deviations and work with the relevant teams on corrective actions. You will assess sales performance against forecast, distinguish temporary fluctuations from sustainable trends and evaluate different scenarios. Your analysis will support practical recommendations, helping teams address issues early and make informed demand decisions.

You will track inventory and stock coverage to highlight potential overstock, shortages, out-of-stocks and shelf-life risks, then help stakeholders define appropriate responses. For new products, promotions and seasonal activities, you will shape initial forecasts and volume phasing, adjust assumptions as actual performance becomes available, and consider production lead times, shipment schedules, transit times and market availability dates.

You bring relevant experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Supply Chain or Commercial Planning, ideally gained in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.

You bring a strong analytical approach to forecasting, inventory management and sales and operations planning. You use data to challenge assumptions, identify root causes and explain recommendations clearly.

You work proactively as a solution provider, turning analysis into practical actions and following priorities through to resolution. You anticipate risks, align stakeholders and remain accountable for outcomes.

 Experience across multiple markets or distributor-led operations is an advantage.
