CDI

As a Warehouse Operator at our Ferrero Halstead site, home of Eat Natural, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across our warehouse operations. From receiving raw materials to dispatching finished products, you will help maintain accurate stock control, support production needs, and ensure all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with Ferrero’s quality and compliance standards.

This is a permanent role working on a rotating shift pattern of Mornings (6am–2pm) and Afternoons (2pm–10pm). Flexibility will be key to supporting changing production and operational demands.

In this role, you will support the full flow of warehouse operations, ensuring goods are safely and accurately received, stored, moved, and dispatched to meet production and customer requirements. You will operate warehouse equipment, manage inventory and documentation through warehouse management systems such as SAP, and work closely with production teams, transport providers, and suppliers to ensure smooth daily operations. Health, safety, quality, and data accuracy will be central to everything you do, alongside a continuous improvement mindset to help enhance efficiency and ways of working.

  • Operate warehouse and material handling equipment, including forklifts and reach trucks, in line with training, health & safety regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practice.

  • Manage goods-in and goods-out activities, including checking deliveries, inspecting product quality, preparing shipments, and ensuring accurate, timely dispatch.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation, promote safe working practices, and report hazards or issues in line with site procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with warehouse colleagues, production teams, transport providers, and suppliers to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance warehouse processes, efficiency, and ways of working.

You bring a responsible, organised, and safety-focused approach to your work and are comfortable operating in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.

  • You have experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting, with confidence handling goods and following procedures.

  • You are detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable using systems to manage inventory and documentation accurately.

  • You take health and safety seriously, work well as part of a team, and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Experience operating forklifts or reach trucks and using SAP or warehouse management systems is beneficial, but training can be provided where required.
