As a Consumer & Shopper Understanding Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering actionable consumer and shopper insights that directly inform business strategy, brand development, and long-term innovation. With support and guidance from your manager, you will lead research projects end-to-end, turning complex data into clear strategic recommendations for key stakeholders and partnering closely with our Global, Area, and local Marketing teams as well as external research agencies. 

Consumer & Shopper Understanding 

You will lead end-to-end consumer and shopper research projects across qualitative and quantitative methodologies, from initial briefing through to insight synthesis and final recommendations. Your focus will be translating complex data into clear, high-impact insights and actionable business initiatives. 

Research & Analytics 

You will design research approaches using a mix of methodologies, including U&A studies, segmentation, taste tests, concept testing, and volumetric modeling. You will analyze and interpret data from multiple integrated sources, ranging from primary research and consumer panels to syndicated data and internal analytics. 

Business Partnering 

Acting as a trusted insight partner for Global Marketing, Brand Teams, and Area CSU networks, you will proactively challenge briefs to help stakeholders sharpen their business questions and ensure all research aligns with broader commercial objectives

Knowledge Sharing & Market Trends 

You will share learnings across cross-functional teams to continuously elevate insight maturity and decision quality across the organization, staying ahead of emerging market trends, evolving consumer behaviors, and novel research methodologies. 

You hold a University degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, or a related field. 

You have 1 to 2 years of experience in Consumer Insights, Shopper Insights, Market Research, or Analytics and bring hands-on experience managing research projects and agency partners. Prior exposure to FMCG, Retail, or Consumer Goods environments is preferred. 

You possess strong core knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, supported by solid analytical skills and critical thinking.  

You bring clear storytelling and presentation skills, a structured mindset, and a business-oriented focus which enables you to manage stakeholders effectively. 

From language perspective, fluency in English is required, Italian is a plus.
