We have a current opening for a Channel Marketing Director, Strategic Accounts and are actively reviewing applications.

As our Channel Marketing Director, Strategic Accounts, you will have the opportunity to shape the strategy and growth agenda across some of our most important channels, including Target, Drug, Value, Specialty, and Special Markets. Working closely with the Vice President of Sales, Strategic Accounts, you will help define channel priorities, create alignment across teams, and ensure flawless execution of key growth initiatives.

This position is Hybrid and will be based out of our North American HQ in Parsippany, NJ

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to the VP of Strategic Customers and Strategic Customers Leadership Team, helping identify priorities, business opportunities, risks and required actions.
  • Lead development and evolution of the Strategic Accounts strategy and annual planning process across Target, Drug, Value, Specialty and Special Markets.
  • Connect enterprise, brand and Sales priorities to clear channel and customer strategies.
  • Partner with Channel Directors to identify growth opportunities across assortment, distribution, innovation, pricing, promotion, merchandising and seasonal.
  • Establish and lead consistent business routines across Strategic Customers, including business reviews, pacing, forecasting, trade management and priority tracking.
  • Analyze business performance, identify key drivers and gaps, and translate insights into clear recommendations and action plans.
  • Lead preparation for key senior leadership, customer and cross-functional meetings, including monthly business reviews, strategic presentations and customer planning sessions.
  • Simplify complex information into clear, concise and decision oriented executive communication.
  • Serve as a key integrator across Marketing, Trade Marketing, Category Management, Finance, Revenue Growth Management, Shopper/Omnichannel, Supply Chain and other commercial functions.
  • Help align cross-functional resources against the highest priority Strategic Customer opportunities and remove barriers to execution.
  • Drive follow up and accountability against key decisions, commitments and organizational priorities.
  • Support high priority customer opportunities and business challenges where additional strategic, analytical or commercial leadership is required.
  • Maintain a hands on approach and willingness to personally dive into analysis, presentations, customer plans and business issues as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • Significant experience in CPG Sales, Channel Marketing, Trade Marketing, Commercial Strategy, Category Management or a related commercial function.
  • Direct sales or account management experience with regional, national or strategic retailers; experience across multiple retail channels preferred.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including forecasting, trade management and business performance management.
  • Fluency in syndicated, customer and internal data, with the ability to quickly translate data into insights and recommendations.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, planning and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast moving environment
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels
  • High degree of ownership, initiative, curiosity and strong business judgment.
  • Confidence to challenge constructively and provide an independent point of view.
  • Strong executive communication, writing, presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex business issues.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel and syndicated/customer data preferred.

The base compensation range for this position is $168,000.00 - $210,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
