Area Europe FSQ Packaging Auditor

We are looking for an Area Europe FSQ Packaging Auditor to join our Food Safety & Quality organization. Reporting to the Area Europe & SME Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the qualification, auditing and continuous monitoring of suppliers providing a wide range of packaging materials, including paper and board, plastic, glass and other packaging components, across the European region. By ensuring alignment with Ferrero Food Safety & Quality standards, you will contribute to supplier compliance, risk management and performance improvement activities throughout the packaging supply chain.

Operating in a dynamic international environment, you will help drive audit governance, supplier performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives, strengthening the effectiveness of Ferrero’s Packaging FSQ program across Europe.

In this role, you will contribute to the qualification and ongoing assessment of packaging suppliers across the European region, ensuring compliance with Ferrero Food Safety & Quality standards. Working closely with Procurement, Packaging SMEs and other stakeholders, you will evaluate suppliers' capabilities and quality management systems, support supplier approval activities and help strengthen the reliability of the packaging supply base through a risk-based approach.

You will manage and execute supplier audits and inspections, coordinating audit plans and supporting the assessment of supplier performance against established Food Safety & Quality requirements. Through regular interactions with internal and external stakeholders, you will monitor audit outcomes, identify improvement opportunities and ensure the effective implementation and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions, contributing to the resolution of non-conformities and compliance gaps.

You will also play a key role in supplier performance monitoring and compliance reporting. By analyzing audit results, performance indicators and recurring quality issues, you will contribute to the identification of potential risks and support data-driven decision making. In addition, you will help maintain accurate audit and CAPA data while preparing dashboards and reports that provide visibility on supplier performance and Food Safety & Quality trends across the region.

Finally, you will contribute to the governance and continuous improvement of the Packaging FSQ audit program. Acting as a reference point for audit methodologies and best practices, you will support the continuous evolution of audit tools, checklists and risk assessment models, helping ensure consistency across the region.

You hold a master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Packaging Engineering or a related discipline and have gained solid experience in Food Safety & Quality, ideally in supplier quality management, auditing or quality systems roles within the packaging and/or food industry.

You have developed a strong understanding of supplier qualification processes, quality management systems and audit methodologies, and are comfortable working with suppliers and cross-functional teams in an international environment. 

Your analytical mindset allows you to interpret performance indicators, identify risks and translate findings into concrete improvement actions. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills enable you to collaborate effectively and build constructive relationships both internally and externally.

You speak fluent English and are available to travel internationally as part of the role

The role is classified at Level Quadro under the National Collective Agreement for the Food Industry (CCNL Industria Alimentare). The guaranteed minimum base annual gross salary established by the CCNL for the applicable level is €50.083. The compensation package also includes an annual variable component with a target of up to 10% of base salary. The overall compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills, and qualifications of the selected candidate.
