As an Advanced Operator at Ferrero, you will play a key part in ensuring our production lines run smoothly, safely and efficiently, producing some of the nation’s most loved confectionery products. You’ll already have experience within a manufacturing or packing environment and take pride in delivering the highest standards of quality, hygiene and performance.

You’ll be supported through comprehensive training to develop as a technical expert in your area. This includes gaining in-depth knowledge of the machinery, processes and quality standards specific to your line. You’ll take ownership of your area, monitor performance, address issues quickly and play an active role in supporting continuous improvement across the operation.

This is a permanent role based on an annualised hours contract, working rotating Mornings (6am–2pm) and Afternoons (2pm–10pm) shifts. Flexibility will be key to supporting production demands.

In this role, you’ll ensure production equipment is set up and operating correctly, monitoring output and quality against established standards. You’ll take a hands-on approach to problem-solving, resolving issues promptly and escalating where necessary.

You’ll carry out first-level maintenance and assist the engineering team with more complex interventions. As an advanced operator, you’ll also share your knowledge and experience with others, helping to upskill colleagues, improve processes and build capability within the team.

You’ll play an active part in Ferrero’s continuous improvement culture by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, product quality and workplace safety – always maintaining our high standards and our commitment to excellence.

You’ll bring experience from a manufacturing or packing environment, with confidence in operating or maintaining production line machinery. You’ll be motivated to build on your technical expertise and take pride in running your area efficiently.

You understand the importance of consistency, safety and attention to detail, and you’re proactive in finding solutions when things don’t go to plan. You enjoy working as part of a team, supporting others, and contributing to shared success.

A flexible and adaptable mindset will be key, as production needs can change. Most importantly, you’ll demonstrate a positive attitude, ownership of your work and a genuine passion for delivering products that delight consumers.
