Reporting to the IT CoE Consumer & eCommerce Architect, the Web & Digital Platforms Specialist is a key role contributing to the evolution and governance of Ferrero’s global web ecosystem, which includes more than 300 websites across markets and brands.

In this position, you will play a central role in designing, supporting and enhancing digital solutions on the company’s web platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and business strategic objectives. Acting as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation, you will contribute to the continuous evolution of Ferrero’s digital services with a strong focus on scalability, performance, security and user experience.

The position is based in our Alba offices, with flexibility for remote work up to two days per week.

In this role, you will contribute to the design and evolution of web platform solutions, supporting global initiatives aimed at enhancing Ferrero’s digital presence and consumer engagement capabilities across markets. You will collaborate with international business units to gather and interpret requirements, translating them into scalable and robust technical solutions that are fully aligned with enterprise architecture standards and guidelines.

A key part of your contribution will be supporting the architecture design, implementation and rollout of web platforms and digital services, ensuring high standards in terms of performance, data integrity, security and scalability.

By working closely with development teams, vendors and third party partners, you will ensure that solutions are implemented effectively and in compliance with defined architectural principles, contributing to the overall quality and consistency of the digital ecosystem. You will also manage platform upgrades and continuous improvements, coordinating stakeholders and collaborating with Service Management teams to ensure compliance with service level targets and the ongoing enhancement of service quality.

In addition, you will ensure that IT procedures and standards related to testing, monitoring, cybersecurity, documentation and handover processes are properly followed and maintained, supporting the overall reliability and maintainability of the platforms. You will contribute to software testing activities, including test planning, test case definition and automation, and you will support technical analysis, code reviews and pilot projects around web technologies, consumer engagement and digital platforms.

Finally, you will support third level incident management activities, working closely with support teams to ensure the stability and continuity of business-critical applications.

You hold a master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, and you bring experience in delivering web-based solutions within complex environments.

You have a solid understanding of modern web architectures, including frontend and backend technologies, API-driven integrations and scalable application design, combined with experience working with web platforms and content management systems and familiarity with software testing practices, technical documentation and cloud-based environments.

You are comfortable working in cross-functional and international teams, managing stakeholders and collaborating with multiple partners, and you are fluent in English.

Above all, you bring curiosity and a genuine passion for digital technologies together with a strong interest in contributing to the continuous evolution of digital platforms and services.

The role is classified at Level 1° under the National Collective Agreement for the Food Industry (CCNL Industria Alimentare). The guaranteed minimum base annual gross salary established by the CCNL for the applicable level is €43.249. The overall compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills, and qualifications of the selected candidate.
