Shopper Marketing Manager
At Ferrero, we're passionate about creating meaningful shopper experiences that bring our brands to life and deliver sustainable business growth. As Shopper Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing shopper and category strategies that align with both our brand ambitions and commercial objectives.
Working collaboratively across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance, you will act as the link between shopper insight, category thinking and customer activation. You'll help translate category and brand strategies into impactful in-store and omnichannel activities that drive shopper engagement, strengthen customer partnerships and support business performance.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, using data and insight to influence decisions and deliver category growth across a variety of retail channels.
In this role, you will support the development and delivery of shopper marketing, category and customer strategies that drive sustainable growth across Ferrero's brands and retail partners. Using shopper, market and competitor insights, you will identify opportunities to strengthen category performance and create innovative solutions that meet both shopper and customer needs. You will help translate global category and brand strategies into locally relevant plans, ensuring they are effectively activated across a range of retail environments.
Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance teams, you will bring marketing strategies to life at the point of sale through promotional campaigns, merchandising initiatives, point-of-sale materials and shopper activation programmes. You will coordinate and evaluate in-store activities, ensuring they are delivered effectively, on time and in line with business objectives, while continually using performance data and shopper insights to optimise future activity.
You will also support the development of channel and customer plans by analysing performance, identifying growth opportunities and helping to shape commercial recommendations. Partnering with Key Account Managers and cross-functional stakeholders, you will contribute to joint business planning, customer-specific activation strategies and initiatives designed to maximise category growth and profitability.
A key aspect of the role will involve using data and insights to support decision-making across the business. You will help develop and maintain dashboards, reports and performance tracking tools, ensuring stakeholders have access to meaningful information that drives action. You will also coordinate commercial planning processes, monitor key business metrics and provide analysis on the effectiveness of shopper and in-store activities.
As part of the wider commercial team, you will contribute to demand planning activities by working closely with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain colleagues to understand market trends, promotional activity and customer requirements. Your insights will help support accurate forecasting, optimise product availability and contribute to achieving volume, profitability and product freshness objectives while minimising the risk of stock shortages and returns.
We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, commercially minded and passionate about understanding shoppers and customers. You enjoy working collaboratively across teams, are comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment and thrive on turning insight into action.
You will bring strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to present recommendations and influence decision-making at different levels. You are highly analytical, enjoy working with data and use evidence-based thinking to support commercial opportunities and business growth.
To be successful in this role, you'll have experience developing shopper marketing strategies across the path to purchase and a strong understanding of the UK FMCG landscape. You'll be familiar with both online and offline shopper marketing environments and understand how to create effective activation plans across multiple channels.
You'll also possess excellent Excel, PowerPoint and reporting skills, alongside the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and manage multiple priorities effectively.
