We’re looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team on a 12‑month fixed term contract. In this role, you’ll support key finance processes across Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), and process compliance activities.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong accounting foundation who enjoys working with detail, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to accurate financial reporting.

Record to Report (R2R)

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly reports and annual financial statements
  • Support journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations
  • Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits
  • Assist with regular submissions (e.g. tax and statistical reporting) to government authorities

Procure to Pay (P2P)

  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable records
  • Support vendor onboarding and ensure compliance with procurement policies

Order to Cash (O2C)

  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Assist with SAP™ reconciliations
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing issues
  • Support credit checks and customer master data maintenance

Process Compliance

  • Perform monthly purchase cut‑off testing to ensure timely SAP™ updates
  • Conduct monthly three‑way checks (purchase orders, proof of goods/services received, and invoices)
  • Support annual contract repository checks in line with contract policy

Other responsibilities

  • Undertake additional tasks as required to support the Finance team

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • A strong foundation in accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of SAP™ (essential)
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Experience liaising with external auditors (desirable)
