Warehouse Specialist
This position is located in Franklin Park (Chicago), one of the major Ferrero plants acquired in North America with 700+ employees producing iconic products: Butterfinger, Baby Ruth and Nutella Peanut.
The Warehouse Specialist is a key functional and management position in the Ferrero Supply Chain
• Responsible for assisting in the coordination of the daily Warehouse operation.
• Working in a Team Environment, assist the Warehouse Supervisors to coordinate and optimize the warehouse to achieve maximize efficiency in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner that meets Ferrero standards of SQCDME.
• Assist the Warehouse Supervisors and provide input to the processes of training and the development of a positive team-based environment.
• Enforce and promote all company guidelines, policies, and good manufacturing practices pertaining to all facets of the business, not limited to and including food safety and health & and safety.
• Manage/Monitor Industrial Warehouse Inbound and Outbound Schedule considering incoming and outcoming materials (Food, Packaging, Technical e Equipment) from all sources, stakeholder needs, and receiving/shipping available capacity (Workdays, weekends, holidays)
• Communication with departments involved in specific deliveries if any constraints arise – MRP for material details and Transportation for carrier details.
• Coordinate and rebalance schedule for any urgent requirements as needed.
• Provide delivery data to support Transportation Team validation of invoices for extra charges and carrier performance.
• Support Dispute Resolution ie: Destination charges = demurrage, storage, handling etc.
• Processing of Invoice Workflow Items as required (responsible for performing goods receipts and service receipts for supplier vendor invoices)
• Report to the Supply Chain Manager any constraints or peaks in the volume of upcoming deliveries.
• Coordinate any reverse logistics with all stakeholders (manage OS&D process)
• Post goods receipts on pallets arriving with other deliveries (WIP, returns from DC, etc.)
• Local System Supply Chain subject matter expert: follow-up on IT Change requests, validate BBP, perform User Acceptance Test
• Key technical user for SAP, MII, and RF devices

The base salary range for this position is $53,000- $71,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
