INTERNSHIP Travel Market Customer Service Supply Chain (starting from March)
For our Global Headquarters, we are looking for a Customer Service Specialist Intern who will report professionally to the Customer Service Travel Market Manager. Travel Market serves global and regional travel retail and duty-free operators across airports, border shops, cruise lines and airlines, bringing our brands to travellers worldwide.
Thanks to your support, our Travel Market customers will experience continuity in their operations and the correct service level. You will manage the order-to-cash flow for key travel retail accounts, from order intake (including EDI orders) and order confirmation to delivery and invoicing, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time. You will also maintain customer master data so that any changes in delivery points, Incoterms or commercial conditions are properly reflected.
You will supervise price accuracy in SAP and support the update of price lists for the Travel Market portfolio, including travel-exclusive and seasonal assortments. At the same time, you will monitor daily shipments and coordinate with our 3PL warehouse and freight forwarders to anticipate risks, while preparing and sharing the necessary shipping and customs documentation to ensure smooth deliveries to customer hubs and destinations worldwide.
You will coordinate claim resolution with Finance, Logistics and Sales, follow up on credit blocks and order releases with Credit Control, and help track service KPIs such as OTIF and Case Fill Rate, contributing to a consistent and reliable customer experience.
You will handle administrative and back-office tasks such as creating sales orders, proformas and invoices, monitoring EDI/IDoc messages, and supporting orders for promotional materials and gifts with purchase (GWP). You will also take part in improvement projects aimed at simplifying and automating Travel Market processes.
To be eligible for the internship, you must be enrolled in an educational institution, or the internship must start and end within 12 months after your last school enrolment period. In addition, you must already hold EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Luxembourg which is valid at least until the end of August 2027.
Thanks to your university degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration, you will bring a solid foundation to the role. Any prior experience in Supply Chain, Customer Service or Travel Retail will be considered a plus.
You will use your strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, along with SAP proficiency, and your fluency in English, while additional European languages will be seen as an advantage.
Thanks to your clear communication, customer orientation and ability to interact across roles and levels, you will work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment with multiple customers, channels and lead times.
