We are currently looking for an Energy Management & Industrial Decarbonization Specialist who will be based in Alba (CN)

This position plays a role in shaping and executing the Group’s decarbonization roadmap, supporting both strategic investment decisions and operational implementation across multiple industrial sites globally (20+ industrial sites) aligned with the SBTi-approved target of -50% CO2 emissions by 2030.

In this role, you will play a key part in driving industrial decarbonization and supporting strategic energy investments across a global manufacturing network. You will identify and implement high-impact solutions, balancing CO₂ reduction with CAPEX and OPEX optimization, while managing a centralized investment program focused on energy efficiency and emissions reduction. Covering this role, you will develop solid business cases, financial models, and technical assessments to support decision-making and ensure the sustainability and scalability of initiatives.

You will oversee projects end-to-end, starting from feasibility analyses, including Zero Emission Studies, through execution, commissioning, and final performance validation. Part of your responsibilities will be to coordinate activities across more than 20 industrial plants worldwide, including on-site visits, while also supporting the onboarding of new plants by evaluating energy baselines and identifying decarbonization opportunities.

You will actively contribute to governance and stakeholder management processes, either leading or supporting investment approval cycles with senior stakeholders and relevant governance bodies. You will prepare business plans, CAPEX proposals, and all related investment documentation, ensuring full alignment with Finance in terms of budgeting, tracking, and financial compliance.

Working in close collaboration with Finance, Procurement, Energy, and Legal, you will support the development of CAPEX projects and long-term agreements, including contracts with a 10 to 15-year horizon. You will also contribute to tender processes, defining technical requirements and engaging with external partners, while exploring and supporting alternative financing models, including incentive scouting.

In addition, you will promote the adoption of energy efficiency policies across industrial sites, supporting local teams in identifying projects, preparing CAPEX requests, and executing initiatives. You will monitor and validate project performance and achieved savings, ensuring continuous improvement and the delivery of tangible results in line with decarbonization targets.

You will bring your Master's Degree in Engineering, whether in Energy, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field, which will support your ability to navigate complex industrial environments. Covering this role, you will leverage your proven experience in energy, utilities, or decarbonization projects, combining it with financial analysis capabilities and expertise in CAPEX project management to drive impactful initiatives.

You will operate effectively in multi-site or international industrial settings, relying on your sound understanding of energy systems, cogeneration, and decarbonization technologies to support technical and strategic decisions. Part of your success in this role will come from your ability to engage and influence stakeholders, thanks to your excellent communication and presentation skills, both in Italian and English, while confidently working cross-functionally within complex organizations.

You will also bring flexibility and openness to business travel (30%), demonstrating your availability for global mobility and your willingness to work in a dynamic, international context.
