Channel Controlling Manager

Interact with National Snack and OOH&eB2B sales organization to ensure the monthly closings and explain deviations from the Budget/Forecast. Ensure compliance with the procedures for loading into the Information Systems of the financial data (actual and Budget/Planning).

Act as business partner supporting National Snack and OOH&eB2B sales organization in assessing, monitoring, deciding on all commercial levers (S&OP, volume, pricing, Gross to Net, A&P, OVH).

PLANNING & FORECAST

• Lead budget, SAF and LE process, align with key stakeholders of deliverables.
• Track business actual performance, lead gap analysis vs. plans, provide explanations and drive action plan.
• Support Sales and Trade-marketing to build OP by platforms and key customers.
• Support Senior Emerging Channels Controller to act as finance business partner for National Snack and OOH&eB2B team to support channels’ business growth.
• Participate in the development and implementation of the National Snack and OOH&eB2B team go-to-market and sales strategy and provide financial counsel to drive the business.

CONTROLLING & REPORTING

• Manage monthly Trade Spending process, including value chain maintenance, scorecard forecasting and actual track, on top evaluation.
• Ensures monthly and year-end closings activities, performing variance analysis (products, margins, advertising investments, etc.)
• Maintain daily system, ensures smooth process and new request to the system. Handle by session CUP P/L and Performance Report process. Actively communication with central and local cross function to fulfil the request.
• Effectively partner with National Snack and OOH&eB2B sales team to optimize National Snack and OOH&eB2B portfolios, Pricing and maximizing National Snack and OOH&eB2B marginality. Work with cross function to track National Snack and OOH&eB2B A&P and Supply Chain cost.
• Effectively track and analyze National Snack and OOH&eB2B Campaigns and Promotional Activities to track ROIs and improve National Snack and OOH&eB2B investment efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure company process consistency and compliance
• Support the business for new channel’s development and value chain analysis
• Support Finance team in the ad-hoc projects

BEING AN ACTIVE TEAM MEMBER AND AN EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATOR INTEGRATING WITH OTHER KEY STAKEHOLDERS TO PROVIDE A HOLISTIC CONTROLLER VIEW.

• Coordinate with other team members to achieve synergies by providing shared templates and sharing updated information
• Participating in meetings with different stakeholders to actively contribute to the discussions.
• Continue to optimize the existing templates/way of working and share the best practice/knowledge within the team
• Communicate effectively to other functions for the key message that we need to deliver
• Cooperate and communicate with area category controllers and area controllers for group projects updates.

• Bachelor+ degree in Finance
• 5+ years finance experience, including 3 years channel experience in offline GT/MT/Eb2b/. Big 4 background is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and process driven know-how
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with flexibility to adjust to the fast-changing working demands
• Ability to drive results individually and within the team
• Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese
