The Industrial Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance team, ensuring all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently and safely. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, supporting continuous improvement and minimizing downtime in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Lead and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians across shifts.

Perform and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and facility systems.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support operational goals.

Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Assist in planning and executing equipment upgrades, installations, and shutdowns

Monitor inventory of spare parts and tools; coordinate with procurement as needed.

Respond to emergency breakdowns and support root cause analysis.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.

5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work flexible hours and respond to off-shift emergencies
