For our Global Headquarters, we are looking for a Transportation Development Manager. You will join the Future of Transportation cluster, bringing your interest in development and your knowledge of end-to-end transportation processes. Thanks to your background in transportation, logistics, engineering, or similar fields, you’ll act as a global subject matter expert and lead project teams through all phases, from initial planning to delivery, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and Future of Transportation objectives. 

Thanks to your experience in transportation project management, you’ll be able to lead initiatives from end to end, building business cases, managing economic aspects, planning each phase, and ensuring timely and proper execution. You’ll also ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines while meeting expected quality standards throughout project lifecycles. 

You will bring strong insight into transportation systems and processes, helping shape solutions through thoughtful improvements and expert recommendations. Your ability to work across functions will be essential in maintaining active collaboration with internal teams, including IT, supply chain, transportation, and procurement, as well as external logistics partners. These interactions will help align priorities and keep projects moving forward smoothly, while also allowing you to address challenges and opportunities early on. 

With your structured mindset, you’ll contribute to business growth by identifying potential improvements and resolving technical or logistical challenges along the way. You’ll also support organizational change by applying a methodical approach: defining clear goals, mapping stakeholder impact, assessing risks, and helping guide the transition at every stage. 

Thanks to your experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or transportation planning, you’ll support development projects with a clear understanding of both functional and technical aspects. Background in TMS-related initiatives, transportation transformation, or IT projects will be useful. Knowledge of Blue Yonder TMS or experience in FMCG adds value. 

You’ll bring analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, while collaborating with diverse teams and engaging stakeholders through change. Strong communication and the ability to work across cultures will support your impact in a global setting. Managing change does not scare you. 

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP ECC will help manage daily tasks effectively. Familiarity with platforms like TMS or control towers is appreciated. Fluency in English is needed, and Italian can be a plus. You’re also open to travel when required.
