We are looking for a Product Technical Performance Manager (PTPM) to join our TPD Premium Chocolate team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, optimization and industrialization of Premium Chocolate products, supporting both innovation projects and the continuous improvement of existing products. Working across laboratories, pilot plants and manufacturing sites, you will help ensure that products consistently meet Ferrero's quality standards and deliver outstanding consumer experiences.

You will join a highly dynamic and international environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and production sites worldwide to bring new ideas from concept to market while enhancing the technical performance of our Premium Chocolate portfolio.

You will plan, organize and execute trials and experiments to deliver product and process development projects in line with defined technical requirements and business objectives. Supporting projects from concept through industrialization and launch, you will leverage your product and process expertise in Premium Chocolate products, managing laboratory trials, sensory evaluations, scale-up activities, factory tests and supplier trials.

You will be responsible for the creation and ownership of industrial recipes for the products under your responsibility, ensuring successful implementation and consistent performance across manufacturing sites. Additionally, you will identify and evaluate new ingredients for the category and contribute to the development of new formulations, ensuring optimum organoleptic characteristics throughout product shelf life.

You will also define key technological parameters for new products and formulations, ensuring compliance with product specifications and supporting the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

Working in close collaboration with TPD Premium Chocolate laboratories and project teams, you will promote knowledge sharing and best practice exchange while acting as a technical reference point to stakeholders across the organization  to ensure the successful execution of projects.

You hold a master's degree in Food Technology, Food Science or a related field and have gained experience in R&D, Technical or Quality roles within the food industry.

Exposure to the chocolate confectionery category, including chocolate moulding, fats and fillings processing, and cereals or wafer baking technologies, would be considered favorably.

You have knowledge of chemical, microbiological, sensory and nutritional analyses and a proven ability to support projects from concept to launch, working collaboratively with technical and cross-functional teams across international environments.

You are comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, while exposure to SAP, Devex or R would be appreciated.

Finally, you are fluent in English and Italian, available to travel internationally when required, attention to detail and a collaborative mindset with a genuine passion for Ferrero products, consumers and the Premium Chocolate category.

The role is classified at Level Quadro under the National Collective Agreement for the Food Industry (CCNL Industria Alimentare). The guaranteed minimum base annual gross salary established by the CCNL for the applicable level is €50.083. The overall compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills, and qualifications of the selected candidate.
