Inventory Supervisor
We have a current opening for an Inventory Supervisor and are actively reviewing applications.
The Inventory Supervisor will reconsolidate Fannie May and 3PL Inventory (WMS), oversee 15+ employees, ensure fulfillment of Fannie May Retail, Production, DTC, DSD, and 3Pl monthly storage and labor fees, SOP/GMP/safety and forklift training. Assist warehouse manager with interviewing and hiring employees, train, evaluate and promote employees, quarter and yearly DQG audit.
Hours: On-site M-F 8a- 4:30p with occasional overtime.
- Ensure the flow of operations in area through appropriate staffing and line assembly based on standard staffing requirements
- Responsible for ensuring all proper quality standards are maintained. All labeling is accurate, product packaging meets visual specifications.
- Maintain the warehouse management system (SAP)
- Train associates for the safe and efficient operation of required equipment.
- Assist with sponsoring an associate based committee to help improve plant operations (i.e. Safety Committee, etc.)
- Comprehensive understanding of key supply chain processes, including planning, production, logistics, and quality management.
- Experience managing warehouse staff, inbound/outbound orders and strong inventory management and reporting skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven success record of using metrics, productivity tracking and data collections to drive measurable continuous performance improvement.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management and customers.
- Ability to proactively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, change-oriented environment, while remaining organized and detail oriented.
- Accepts change and is driven by goals and exceeding expectations.
- Must have the ability to work with data and develop effective presentations, have advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint skills.
