INTERNSHIP Raw Materials Consumption Analyst (Starting from September)

End to End Supply Chain
Job ID:
75441
SENNINGERBERG, L, LU (Field based)
Internship

In this internship, you will join Industrial & Supply in Luxembourg and help shape how we translate business plans into the right raw‑material needs. Your work will create real impact: when volumes are clear and understood, teams can secure materials earlier and protect quality. You will collaborate closely with raw materials planning and warehouse team, learning how numbers become decisions.

You will participate to consolidate mid‑ and long‑term consumption needs for the raw‑material categories you support, bringing clarity cycle after cycle. You will analyze movements, compare scenarios, and explain what changed and why, so your partners can act with confidence and keep plans aligned with operations.

Moreover, you will investigate the main drivers behind significant variances and surface potential risks early, especially for sensitive categories such as fats and dairy. You will help connect insights to the short‑ and long‑term plan, then discuss main drivers of changes cycle over cycle with colleagues to propose possible solutions to main stakeholders.

Finally, you will contribute to forecast volume preparation using integrated planning inputs, ensuring information stays accurate and traceable. You will support both planning and warehouse improvement projects ad‑hoc simulations when shortages appear, and you will work daily with category planners, and operating planning teams to keep supply choices grounded in facts.

To be eligible for the internship, you must be enrolled in an educational institution, or the internship must start and end within 12 months after your last school enrolment period. In addition, you must already hold EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Luxembourg which is valid at least until the end of February 2027.

You bring initial experience in logistics, supply planning, or a closely related area, including through internships. You can work with data, check its consistency, and turn it into a clear message that helps others decide.

You use Excel confidently for analysis and you can build structured views that help people understand trends. You have already worked with an ERP system, and if you have used SAP (MM or SD), you will recognize key planning and material flows quickly.

You communicate in English every day, in writing and in meetings, and you can adapt your message to different audiences. You can coordinate small projects, support change in a practical way, and work effectively with colleagues from different cultures and time zones
