About the Role:

To guarantee the proper Material to the factory (packaging, row material toys and semi-finish goods) with the adequate level of inventory, managing at the same time the warehousing and the delivery to the factory customer. 
Managing the Import export flow.
To manage the entire Business logistic flow Warehousing and distribution for the Ithemba BU optimising network (stock, service level to customer and cost) 

Main Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Strategy
•    Elaborates supply chain strategy based on the target established by the Business Unit and factory Operations;
•    Prepare PMT and budget the Supply Chain department following the Central SCI guidelines, fixed together with the BU and the factpry;
•    Manage improvement project in the overall network to ensure the better achievement of the objectives; 
Supply Network Planning 

•    Guarantee the correct safety stock in all the Network (central warehouse, Factory, CFA), following the Rolling  sales forecast, and the factory production plan;

Warehousing and Transportation Management (Primary & Secondary shipments)
•    Distributes on time the factory output managing the deliveries to the different customers.
•    Manages the distribution process;
•    Ensures the monitoring of Logistics Providers, in terms of quality level of receiving, storing, handling and shipping processes and Costs.
•    Ensures the optimal management of transportation in compliance with defined quantity and timing. 
•    Manages the shipping of general materials and requested.
•    Ensure the benchmarking and scouting  within  the  Logistic Providers market. Support the possible negotiations with  new providers.
Stock and Material Management
•    Ensures the proper management of the stock within the network;
•    Manage the order and the flow and the stock (in the different location internal and external warehouses) of the Packaging material, row material, toys and semifinished goods, in order to guarantee the proper stock to ensure the production; 

Customer Service
•    Guarantee the proper service level to the customer fixed by the Business Unit (On time deliveries and case fill rate ratio)

Human resources management
•    Assures an effective management of assigned personnel defining activities planning and promoting sinergies; recruits if needed and foreseen in the  budget
•    Guarantees Human resources professional development, evaluating people and proposing training and development initiatives 
•    Directs and maintains various activities designed to promote and maintain a high level of employee engagement

Who we are looking for:

BCom Supply Chain or any relevant Degree
•    8-15 years in Supply Chain Management in the FMCG environment
•    Supply Chain full skills (in Education, Business Unit side and Operations side, and Project Management experience)
•    Warehouse and Distribution Management
•    People management and cross functional projects management skills;
•    Strong Leadership
