Industrial Finance Analyst
As an Industrial Financial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting both the operational and financial performance of Ferrero’s Halstead site. Working closely with the Finance and Operations teams, you’ll help ensure accurate month-end closing, manage key reporting activities, and provide financial analysis that drives efficiency, cost control, and business decision-making.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include invoicing, posting accruals and prepayments, and ensuring all month-end transactions and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time in line with Group standards. You’ll also support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to deliver meaningful insights into site performance and cost drivers.
In this role, you will support and execute month-end closure activities, including invoicing, posting accruals, prepayments, journal entries, and reconciling key balance sheet accounts. You’ll ensure financial reporting is accurate and completed on time, providing commentary on performance variances, risks, and opportunities.
You’ll analyse industrial and operational variances, identify root causes, and support the implementation of corrective actions to improve financial performance. In addition, you’ll assist with budgeting and forecasting by consolidating operational data and providing insight to support effective business planning.
A key part of your role will be maintaining and updating standard costs for materials and products, ensuring accuracy in profitability reporting. You’ll also review and validate SAP transactions, including cost centre postings, stock movements, asset capitalisation, and production orders, helping to ensure data integrity across systems.
Working closely with colleagues in Operations, Procurement, and Group Finance, you’ll promote best practices in cost control and reporting accuracy. You’ll also provide ad-hoc financial analysis and industrial reporting as required, while ensuring full compliance with Group accounting standards and internal financial controls.
You’re an analytical and detail-oriented finance professional, ideally with experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment. You have strong Excel skills and practical experience with SAP (FI/CO) or a similar ERP system, with the ability to review and reconcile transactions confidently.
You bring a proactive, problem-solving mindset and communicate clearly with both finance and operational colleagues. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in accuracy, and are keen to build your experience in industrial and operational finance within a global organisation known for quality and care.
