Controller Korea

The Controller Korea position plays a pivotal role in driving the financial performance and governance of Ferrero’s Korean business. This position acts as a finance business partner to the commercial team, ensuring robust budgetary control, insightful analysis, and process optimization. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to strategic decision-making in a dynamic FMCG environment. 

• Manage the Korean P&L, including cost efficiency initiatives and implementation of optimization projects in full ownership
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and related analysis and presentations in line with Ferrero standards
• Lead monthly closing, variance analysis, and ongoing monitoring of trade and A&P spending
• Review and release purchase orders for commercial spending; support sales in managing trade spending budgets
• Conduct feasibility studies, new SKU simulations, and ad hoc assignments to support management decisions
• Serve as the primary contact for Sales and Marketing in Korea, providing timely financial insights for business decisions
• Prepare and update annual standard costs and invoice price lists in SAP
• Manage monthly reporting (STT/STD/Stock) and session-based reporting 
• Analyze SKU gross margins to support local decision-making
• Assist with special projects at HQ, regional, and local levels

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Relevant experience as a controller in a multinational company, FMCG is preferred
• Audit background is a plus, CPA qualification is considered an advantage
• Commercial and analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, detail-orientation and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, agility and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
• Digital mindset with advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, experience with SAP. Power BI, Hyperion and Essbase is a plus
• Fluency in English and Koream (written and spoken)
