For our Ferrero HQ based in Luxembourg, we are looking for an Area APAC-MEA Media Procurement & Governance Manager reporting to the Head of Media Procurement & Governance.
In this role, you will act as a geographical reference and interface for the activities of Media Procurement & Governance. You will support the implement of the Group’s Media Procurement & Governance strategy, processes and policies in all countries within the area, working closely with Area and Regional Media Managers.
Additionally, you will contribute to the media agency selection process and manage both global and local agency relationships within your geographical scope.
By covering this position, you will contribute to the design and execution of the media buying strategy within your area, aligned with Group Media Procurement & Governance guidelines. In collaboration with Area and Region Media Managers, you will help define investment thresholds and select the appropriate media mix.
You will support the local implementation of group-led projects, coordinate media agency selection and pitch processes, and manage agency transitions. Ensuring onboarding reflects Ferrero’s governance standards, you will also handle procurement exceptions while maintaining alignment with internal governance requirements.
Moreover, your responsibility will be to apply group-level media procurement standards and governance processes. You will monitor budget allocations across countries, support media plan approvals, and follow up on governance model implementation. This includes supporting reporting and planning processes, translating area-level guidelines into local actions, and cascading investment strategies with Area Media Managers.
You will review the application of the Principal Model and collaborate with relevant functions to ensure proper documentation and alignment.
Last but not least, you will coordinate media agency performance evaluations across countries, harmonize feedback, and follow up on corrective actions or incentive payments. You will support financial audits by providing inputs and ensure contract compliance across markets, managing modifications in coordination with the Group Media Compliance Manager.
Acting as a counterpart to the GRC Manager during audits, you will track outcomes and support remediation. You will manage vendor assessments, oversee supplier invoicing and payments, and handle Joint Purchase Agreements with Related Companies, ensuring operational and budgetary alignment, agency onboarding, and contract harmonization.
Thanks to your academic background in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, you will be well-prepared to understand the procurement process and the structure of contractual agreements, which are part of the responsibilities in this position.
You will bring between 8 to 10 years of experience in the media industry, gained in roles within media agencies, advertisers, media vendors, or consultancies. This role will involve working across functions and levels within the company, as well as with external partners, which will benefit from your ability to communicate clearly, manage stakeholders effectively, and contribute to collective outcomes.
You will make use of your analytical thinking, problem-solving approach, and ability to assess business priorities from both strategic and operational perspectives.
Finally, you will bring your proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) with your fluency in English.
