Third-Party Operations (3PO) Industrialization Specialist (12-months fixed-term contract)
In our Headquarter in Luxembourg, within Industrial & Supply department, you will help bring new Ferrero products to life through trusted third-party manufacturers. On a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, you will join our Third‑Party Operations Industrialization team and connect innovation with industrial reality, so ideas can reach people sooner, with the quality they expect.
This role lets you discover how Operations and Business work across Headquarters and our Regions. You will help shaping make‑or‑buy choices that support our growth, expand into new geographies, and build new categories, while protecting what matters most: the care and craft behind every product.
You will work closely with the 3PO Industrialization Category Manager to guide innovation projects from early scouting to final industrialization. In close collaboration with Presidenza Globale, Strategy & Innovation and R&D, you will help the Group to compare in‑house versus outsourced scenarios, so each project has a clear path, realistic timing, and a measurable impact on speed to market, cost, and quality.
Moreover, you will help build and strengthen a global network of third‑party manufacturers that match our standards and manufacturing culture. You will be engaged in supporting partner selection, exploring co‑development options in full alignment with R&D, Quality, Supply, and Procurement to meet Ferrero production standards and translate ideas into workable industrial solutions in strong collaboration with third-party manufactures.
Finally, you will coordinate key on‑site activities in full alignment with third-party manufactures such as food safety and quality audit, other specific assessments, technical evaluations, and production trials with the strong contribution of Group related functions. You will support contract submissions and confidentiality agreements, and you will share learnings that grow our Know‑How.
You bring a degree in Engineering (or a related field such as Production or Supply Chain) and 5 to 10 years of experience in Operations or Technical/R&D roles. You have worked in Industrial functions such as production management, operational development, or technical product development, and you can deliver results within the Operations environment in full alignment with Business priorities and needs.
You can communicate clearly in English and work comfortably with teams at different levels and with external partners. You can influence decisions with facts, connect complex systems into simple choices, and move work forward when priorities are tight and timelines matter.
You understand key Operations cost drivers and the relevancy of a coordinated approach across functions and collaborative mindset in the interactions with internal and external stakeholders. You know the key importance and value of Food Safety, Quality, and Health & Safety, and you will travel internationally when needed. You also keep a practical curiosity for new technologies in industry and logistics, and you work well across different cultures.
